The Hong Kong buffet on Glendale Avenue is a unique Chinese buffet. This is no ordinary China One buffet restaurant commonly found elsewhere. I’ve been to many Chinese buffets, but this one has a full bar and a raw bar with a hibatchi grill that you can have a cook, saute your food in front of you, with different sauce options. I had very good service here on July 1, 2022. I’ve been eating here from time to time since they open back In 2010. In the last 12 years the interior has weathered a bit but overall it was still very clean, beautiful decor, a nice separate party room, and a unique aquarium type creek with fish that you walk over as you enter the restaurant. Food is good, it’s not gourmet food, but a good cheap way to fill up. Especially if you go to the raw bar and put your ingredients together and have one of the cooks sauté on the grill. Which is what I recommend, due to having the steaks, chicken, shrimp, mushrooms, onions, rice, noodles, etc fresh and hot. This place made me full and satisfied. Not to mention they serve different flavored ice creams to go.
Raw fish heads put on to hibachi grill as we were walking up with our plates. Waited 15 minutes only to eat pungent, salty, steak covered in fish debris. All the other food that we ate was under or overcooked and had weird textures and tasted... off, or spoiled.Unprofessional, unsatisfactory, unsanitary. Would not recommend, and will not be going back.
By far the best Chinese buffet around. Has large variety of foods. Largest variety of sushi to choose from. The Mongolian Grill is definitely a stop above the rest. And the place is always very clean. Have been there many times and will be continuing to give them my business.
Buffet with hibachi ❤️? you can choose your sauces and toppings. Everything is ALWAYS fresh the staff is VERY helpful.
Hong Kong is, in my opinion, the best Chinese buffet in the area. Staff is friendly, it's very clean and food is always hot and fresh. Good selection with Itachi and sushi bars included in price. They also serve alcohol. Big guy friendly with lots of tables and chairs but also booths for the slimmer crowd.
The food is really good. I would not eat anyplace else.
Had Thanksgiving here for the first time it was excellent! Great mix of traditional Thanksgiving food and the usual Chinese offerings.
Reliably good food, great variety. You can get sushi, hibachi, and normal buffet stuff. They usually have oolong tea, although they've snuck in Jasmine a few times when I've been there. I especially enjoy the pepper chicken, and as long as it's busy the sushi is reliably good. There's nowhere else in town where you're going to manage to be able to pay that and get the sushi that you can get there.
We used to go here often. Food is delicious, and this time it was so good and fresh. However, my husband bit into a shrimp and it exploded with blood. I know some Asian restaurants cook with blood but this was so extremely unpleasant! It looked and smelled like human blood. We won't be coming back any time soon and it breaks my heart.
Upped their prices and lost our long term business. Not worth it. Lower your prices and well come back.Parking lot was a ghost town.
