Everyone says their pizza is great - not impressed at all. Had to drive downrown to pickup but no curbside service so trying to find a parking spot to pickup was terrible and totally not handicap accessible. I get it's cool to be in an old building but no hand rail on the stairs as you enter - hope they have good liability insurance. As for the pizza I have had better!
Just tried for very first time. Was super excited about finding New York style pizza and all the more after seeing the pics and reviews. Ordered 4 pizzas, and their 2 types of cheese breads. But what we received for the pizzas were 4 super thin, hard and crispy pizzas. Was a bust but at least we tried. Seeing the pics online, maybe it's because we ordered tonight and it's a special, so maybe they stretched the doughso to stretch their budget?
The food was stellar. The patio is great. The upstairs bar and sitting area are very nice. Our waitress was super nice and recommended some good things! The pizza is out of this world.My only issue was our waiter that we got after our waitress left. He literally would not look at us. It was very strange. We had to go up to the bar and ask for refills from the other waiter/bartender because he was very obviously avoiding us. And then when we asked for our bill, he was purposely staring at the wall and barely let the pen and paper touch the table when he just dropped it and walked away. It was getting busy so I would understand needing to rush around but this behavior was strange and made us all uncomfortable. Very very bizarre.I would still go back. Just hopefully wouldn't get that waiter. I dont even know his name because he never introduced himself to us.
Super friendly kitchen staff greets you upon entry. Great beer selection (Drafts on the door by the bar). Best pizza in Toledo. The bar staff makes you feel like you’re at Cheers
Awesome 1st time experience with the dine in? Awesome service. Super fast!! Took my 3 teenage boys and we all filled up and got an amazing variety of food for around $50. All around great time and just loved the whole experience!! Thanks so much!
You don’t deliver so we are required to use a delivery app. Both apps I used said the store is not accepting custom orders. What kind of pizza place doesn’t allow you to customize your pizza. That’s the whole point, you make it how you like it. Yes the pizza tasted great when I had it but the fact that you don’t give us the option to have less sauce, cheese, or make the pizza well done is ridiculous!

Cool little spot here. You walk in and it's seems like a quaint pizza spot, in a good way. Then you go upstairs and there's a full bar, more TV's, keno/lottery machine, and bartender. They mostly sell pizza, but it's real good. The staff were real cool. I recommend it. I'll go back
This morning I came to home slice, I had ordered some delicious hot wings(incredibly tender) I had also ordered very cheesy mozzarella sticks as my appetizers. And I had lastly ordered the spinach artichoke pizza and added bacon. Lemme tell yall… this food was literally BOMBTASTIC! I cannot wait to come back again on payday! Literally this restaurant made my entire morning and the rest of the day a good day. I loved it!
The pizza is great at Home Slice! perfect crust and toppings. The folks that work there make it even better!
