had strawberry pie..so good...wish it was all year
I'm husband brought me dinner from Big Biys on Alexis. He got a big boy, strawberry shake and a ice cream cake. The strawberry shake tasted like a vanilla shake an my ice cream cake.. look it's so small like for a kid.
The food was okay. Service could have been better. She was quick to give us the check but didn't really check on the table. The food could have been hotter and for the price? Could have been much tastier..
Very good food! My server was very professional and nice! I believe her name was Gillian. Very pleasant exp. will def be back!
Food was good but the place was freezing. They were having heat issues the day we ate there.
Always the same..diner food is diner food..never totally sucks..u get whatu pay for ..I don't hate it ...
Not the best experience maybe the food will make up for it.
We were in Toledo meeting friends from Cleveland to celebrate a child's birthday. Our original plans were to go to Golden Corral, who were closed due to supply chain issues. What does that have to do with Frisch's Big Boy? Well, it was close and open so we went there, not really knowing what to expect, but being fans of the Big Boy name. Until COVID-19, we had our very own Big Boy in Fort Wayne, Indiana where we're from.Upon arrival, exiting customers and then the staff informed us that the heating was out and asked if we wanted to stay. We were all pretty hungry, it was relatively late considering an hour and a half trip back home, so we stayed. Though it was super cold in the restaurant, the staff maintained a wonderful disposition, provided excellent service, and established a delightful rapport with our group of EIGHT!On top of that, the meal was great. I had a Super Big Boy Deluxe and it tasted as good as it filled me up. Others had buffalo chicken wraps, popcorn shrimp, breakfast platters, and more. We also had some appetizers (mozz sticks, fried mushrooms, and chili cheese fries) which came out fast and were hot and delicious. If I find myself back in this area of Toledo again, you're definitely on our list and maybe we'll see what it's like heated up!Thanks for serving our family.
We went there Monday and brought the kids and they never once said kids eat free so we paid for dinners for everybody only when we were leaving we seen a sign
Went in and the girl with pink hair said we will be right with you and then literally ignored us. We literally stood there for 5 minutes as 4 people did little to nothing. We were finally seated. Our waitress was friendly but not very attentive. They were not busy. 3 tables still had not been bussed and there were only 6 tables occupied throughout our entire dining time. The food was good but not anything to brag about. I'm not one to complain however pink haired girl needs to learn to smile and to have a better attitude towards customers. The blonde who worked acted as if the 2 tables she served had her so deep in the weeds that she couldn't cope. The night in question is the Friday night before Halloween. Maybe some customer service training should be offered.
