The service was terrible and the food was so greasy that plates with taco beef and/or chorizo had a puddle below from every ordered meal on our table. My one friend had a taco salad and the shell was almost solid orange from the ground meat in the bottom. My other friend got Nacho's with just cheese and taco meat also sitting in a pool of grease that made the chips, soggy because the extra, unstrained fat. I had the Mexican potato skins. I couldn't eat more than 2 of the four because of the entrained chorizo was gross.Finally, we had some of the WORST service from our waiter. I understand, companies needing more service help, especially. One thing that the Pandemic proved was that service workers don't want to work long hours for bad pay. It defeats the purpose now, even more so.
Love the authentic Mexican food here at Don Juan. The drinks are great too. We have tried a few of the margaritas. They are quite strong and they serve in large glasses. The food might be a little on the expensive side but the portion size is good. The pork is always cooked to perfection. We tried the seafood soup and was not disappointed. It had an unique flavor and lots of seafood. Will definitely visit again.
The waitresses was extremely rude we brought in an advertisement for 50% off margaritas and was told that it was not 50% and that she could do nothing about it. She was very rude and dissmissive the whole time and when we asked for a manager she said " I'll go get my manager I'm not dealing with you". The manager handle the situation perfectly but would not come back again from the experience.
The prices are very expensive and I didn't like the food very much.
First time here and very impressed. Very clean and well organized. The service was excellent and timely. The menu was extensive and offered great choices. The food was excellent and desert was awesome. We'll be back again.
The pitchers of margaritas are grossly overpriced for them to have hardly any tequila in them. Our food orders are always incorrect and the service is terrible.
Looks like manager / management changed. There was a kid at counter trying to charge 20% tip for Togo order. Be careful check your food and amount.
They have fully loaded tacos meaning they actually put meat on them they are not skimpy! The rice and beans are good and not dry like some places that look like thet just dumped them on a plate and threw them in a microwave. The ice tea is very tasty too... it's an orange type tea and is very good as well.... have been there at least 8 times in about 5 weeks. My husband is addicted... lol.. and they are not price gougers either!!!! Staff is VERY friendly and alcoholic drinks are great!!
Went for lunch, the service was very lackluster and the food was extremely mediocre and bland. No seasoning in sight. It wasn’t a bad experience, but it certainly wasn’t a good one. If you’re looking for anything more than middle of the road, I would suggest going elsewhere.
