Denny's on Cental need to just shut down. ? IT took about 1.5/2 hours to get our food when only 2 other people were in the restaurant when we arrived. Took forever to get our drinks & even longer for our appetizer. There was a bug on my silverware & the cups were dirty. The cook and his crew walked out before making our food. The person left in the kitchen spoke no english, so there was issues communicating...Finally, a new cook came 20 mins later only to make the 2 tables who came after us food 1st. They ate, paid and left & we still had NO FOOD! The waitress told us "yall ticket was pushed to the end" and her excuse was everyone is new....we waited another 20 mins only for her to bring me the wrong food. I tell her I don't eat pork I asked for turkey bacon (they gave me sausage)...she says, it was supposed to be bacon but I did not hear Turkey. After 2 hours and you bring me the wrong food, dirty silverware and cups, and have the AUDACITY to TRY to correct me when I KNOW I told you Turkey.....I had to leave.... They need to go ahead and close. We ended up leaving and heading to across the street to Charlie's Restaurant. Who had EXCELLENT service, food and was clean!! This Denny's is horrible.
Cane in mid afternoon. Waitress saw me, did nothing. Cleaning person saw me, went in the back. SEVERAL minutes later, someone came out from the back and seated me. Waitress cane over in a friendly manor!? The women's bathroom was not clean . The floor especially looked like it hadn't been washed for some time. They brought out my sandwich and fries, the bread had something green on. The waitress said "that's avocado, it must have been on the knife." I informed her I was allergic to avocado. It went back to the kitchen. The sandwich was good when I got it back.
We arrived 40 minutes before closing. The waitress had an attitude as soon as we walked in. She huffed and puffed about them closing as she seated us. We placed our order and could hear the cook screaming and cussing about cooking. We didnt order much 2 american slams and 2 drinks ( fountain pop) The waitress was really pushy once we finished trying to make us leave before they even closed. She came and stood by the table, said she was gonna take our plates, reached for 1 and slammed it back on the table. She then took a step back and just glared as us. The bathroom was also disgusting it smelled like C-diff and a hot beach outhouse.
The worst experience ever. Horrible customer service and food. The food was not inedible and the waitress were very rude and didnt come to the table when we need help or needed to send food back. It was a waste of our hard earned money. They wouldnt even let us talk to a manager due to one not being on the clock. We were told they was nothing they could do. We will not be back.
Went to denny's this morning my family and I. We had the worst experience ever.waited 15 minutes to be seated,after finally getting seated we sat there for 30 minutes and was never even offered a glass of water. I saw waitresses walking around doin nothin and it wasn't even busy.Now I dont know if it was because we are African American or not but that is the way we felt.We will not patronize that place anymore. (Just to let you all know u missed out on some very good tips)TREAT AFRICAN AMERICANS BETTER WHEN THEY COME INTO THE RESTAURANT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been coming to this location for the last 10 years and never had any serious issues. Tonight the food was good as usual, however the wait times were ridiculous! The restaurant was not busy at all, but it took a minimum of 8 minutes to finally be acknowledged by a server and get seated at a booth. The server was very apologetic which I appreciated, and she was very nice and did a good job. After we ordered, it took 25 to 30 minutes to finally get our food. I would have hated to be there if the restaurant was half full! My guess was that there were 20 customers there if that. I know we are all finally getting back to “normal” after COVID, but it was very ridiculous in the waiting game. Not sure if it was due to new servers working and / or new cooks in the kitchen. Hopefully things will only improve.

I come to this restaurant all the time. Our waitress was amazing!!! What wasn't amazing, is when the lady with the dyed blond hair came over to cash us out. She was so rude. Talking over our conversation, like we were not allowed to talk to anyone but her. It wasn't our fault that we stood there for 10 minutes, patiently waiting to be checked out. I usually don't post about people unless they are disrespectful.
My waitress was very good, and my 2 pieces of country fried steak dinner with fries, side salad and grilled garlic toast was 13.99 and good n hot.I was pleased with timing too.
Caught a late Breakfast with my side kick. Philisteak Omelette was cooked just right. Steak was tender and juicy. Usually can't go wrong with Grand Slam Breakfast. Coffee good and strong. Manager was friendly and welcoming. The waitress was ok per my sidekick but I felt we were being rushed out by her. Forgot to take pic of food here is a pic outside.
