Ribs woefully underdone poor quality. Look to be cooked too sort on time and roo hot to try making up or it I expect my meat to practically fall off the bone I don't want to wrestle with it. Really disappointed

Had their catering for my wedding a few weeks ago and even with just the one server, she did an amazing job! got my food for me so I wouldn't spill anything on my dress and got there on time to set up! amazing job and amazing food! Also a great job on getting all the left overs packaged up for us!
The peach cobbler is terrible Potato salad terrible The potatoes were hard And my ribs were dry So quality terrible Came here Saturday April 30th 2022 It will take a long time before I come back here again For one person to eat $33 For a premium bottle of pop $3 Should have gotten a fountain drink Just thought I would get a better meal for that kind of money
Got the City Sampler and was NOT impressed for $30! I did Curbside Pickup and the order said 2:00pm. They changed it to 1:45pm on the “inside order”. So when I arrived at 2:10pm I sat there for 35 minutes after texting HERE. Staff after staff just sitting there staring at my car in the Curbside Spot (the ONLY car there by the way). Finally they come out at around 2:50pm and was like, “sorry we didn’t pay attention and see your text”. I was like, “great so now I have an hour of sitting out food and it’s cold”. She just turned away and said, “have a good day”. That’s bad #1. #2 was the darn portions…. Omg what was worth $30?! I got the absolute smallest portion of Chicken and Turkey! The Brisket was so dry and burnt that it looked like they scrapped it off the side or bottom of the pot! For such a “big portion” the sauce was the right size… SMALL as well! Half cup full of sauce for what should have been 4 very nice portions of meat. Luckily the portions were so small that the sauce fit perfectly which is a joke. All that staff and yet horrible customer service and terrible portions. Don’t plan on going back again if this is how things will go.
I ordered the Judges Sampler for curbside pickup. I got a text when I clicked that I had arrived it said the order would be right out. I waited 20 minutes, and finally called into the store and was told they would bring the order out. The food was ice cold and there was no cornbread or barbecue sauce with my order. The ribs and chicken were excellent but the beef brisket was burnt to a crisp. Very disappointing for that price for food.
First time coming here and it will not be my last. Omg this food is phenomenal. One of my favorite places of all times. I got the loaded fries and I will say these things must be fried with the tears of angels because they were heavenly. There was more food in the pic but my stomach took over before my brain told me to take a picture.
Went there and was severely let down. Got the judges sampler for $35. Opened tray and was surprised how little actual meat on one side. Looked like scraps. Thought ..."well hopefully it tastes really good at least..." nope.... was super dry. Ribs were charred and dry with very little meat on them, other meat was dry and charred. Corn bread was hard on outside. Got coleslaw and baked beans. Portion sizes were not bad, but not a fan of either. Coleslaw had poppy seeds? In it. Little black seeds?/ did not like in it. Baked beans were supposed to have brisket in them... didn't really see any and they tasted to me like beans in BBQ sauce, that's it. The Texas toast with meal was good though. The chicken quarter was only meat in tray not dry or overdone. I wanted to really like this place from some of reviews, but just couldn't. We love City Q! The meat is tender and flavourful, moist yet never greasy. The rub is yummy. Enough spice so you know you are eating BBQ, but doesn't burn your mouth. They have several sides, we get the green beans and fries,, but they have many other good choices as well. I especially love Tuesday rib night, but I also get pulled pork and chicken.
