Toledo, Ohio..So excited they just re-opened after years of decline. Eat my Church's chicken. Good. But very disappointed that they cut the bulk of the chicken breast off your order to make chicken tenders for others. That's why is breast is weird cut. Shame! If u order a breast ur just getting rib meat. Rip off!! Jalapeños pepper too mushy to eat or SQUEEZE. Keep trying.
We went to this location a few months ago and ordered a lot. They were opened. Went through the drive thru. They only gave me half the amount of chicken I ordered and paid for. I live an hour away. When I got home and realized they didn't give me my full order, I called them. They admitted it and told me to come again and get it the next time I'm in town. A month later, we went there to get the rest of the order, and it was closed "due to maintenance". I tried calling them to get a refund but the phone number won't go through. Not very professional.
This place should NOT even be called a chicken restaurant. They never have chicken! You have to always wait! They are always out of sides. Now, now....they have the NERVE to be C L O S E D. Churches has never done well in Toledo because they have never had proper staffing or training. The chicken was good when you could get it but, just a sad memory! If they would give me a chance to run it, I would run it right into profitability!
One of the only ones left, and they were closed due to maintenance issues. I was visiting a friend in Toledo, and thought it would be a nice treat. I haven't had any of their products since they closed all of their restaurants in the Cleveland area back on Christmas Day of 2014. What a bummer!!
I will pass by Kroger and other grocery stores to go to my Meijer. The one in Maumee Ohio is the friendliest one. The greeters at the door....I just love them!!!I'll keep returning...
The chicken wings were chrispy and good.The side mashed potatoes and mac & cheese were the same portions as in the pass.5 wings 2 sides about $20.I believe this restaurant along with others in the area are hiking up the prices at the customers' expense.Let's see if they are around in 10 years.
I have not received my refund for a online order from two months ago that I never received the chicken because the location was closed!!!!! A one star is really too good! Not great customer service by no means!!!! Shame on you!!!
The chicken was spot on, had Texas chicken strips.The workers were pleasant, kind and extremely on point. They told me they just dropped my chicken strips and to wait a few minutes. They brought it to me.Great job always.
I have never wrote a bad review but,I used to love eating here. Now everytime I come there out of everything I want almost everytime. I come.. today i decided I'll still eat something different,because they were out of what I wanted. I got a 3 peice meal that was so dry and old i couldn't eat it. They argued with me about remaking my order refused to refund me,when I had the whole meal to show them. Drive thru speaker was broken had to give exact change because they had no change to give me ..its really sad how they allow this establishment to be ran the person who owns this and allows this should be ashamed.
They are very incompetent. Waited 30 minutes for chicken to get done. Then they had no change so literally rounded off my cost. Couldn't take a credit card, said machine was broke. When asked who owned the establishment they said they don't know. After getting home they gave me the wrong pieces requested and last forgot my drink and sauces! !! What a freaking disappointment.
