Sometimes the restaurant It's so busy and there's so short staffed that the weight might be a little bit longer than people like. But that doesn't stop the food from being absolutely delicious. Today I ordered their chicken Cordon bleu and I can't tell you how delicious it was cooked the bacon was cooked right to the chicken and had the best flavor ever. The ladies are very nice but like I said sometimes they get a little too stressed out the restaurant is always clean the restaurant itself is always clean
Love it here. Just a great place to relax. Home cooked food, with great prices and really nice staff. A comfortable place to take kids or family, and plenty to eat.
Used to be a great place to go, now just save your money and go anywhere else! The staff is rude and very short with you. Went here on a Sunday a week ago (supposed to be open till 8 and lobby was full of people) went though the drive through and sat and the speaker box for 10 minutes, finally drove to window and man opens the window and rudely says "we are closed" and shuts the window....mind you the time was 6:45pm. Than went to try today to get salads and they didn't have the dressing and pop machine was broken. Won't be coming here ever again
Had Jigg’s diner to celebrate St.Paddy’s and it was everything I remember. Growing up in the Boston area this was a childhood favorite. Just like grandpas minus the turnips. Portions were very large; priced modestly considering all you get. I will be having for dinner tomorrow too!
Waitress was awesome. I'm not sure what this is though. A whole lot of bread and not much meat cheese or veggies. Definitely nothing like the picture on the menu.
reading some of these reviews, like "clean" and "great greek food" makes one wonder who they paid off. I ordered the grape leaves, thinking that since it's a greek place, they MUST be good. They tasted like they'd been soaked in water for days at a time. absolutely no flavor i could find. They come with chopped up bits of peppers, tomatoes and onions, also NO FLAVOR. To top it all off, they give you a dish of what looks like pudding, but they call it lemon something to dip your grape leaves in. I'd rather have dishwater. I did however have the greek salad and it was tasty so i know it wasn't just my tastebuds acting up. Yuck. Most of their other food IS good, just don't bother with the "greek" food.
Charlie's is a good restaurant overall. The Corned Beef eggs Benedict were made with canned hash which was disappointing.
They were busy, and our waitress had a party, so the service wasn't their usual excellence, but it was still worth it. Great food!
Use to go to this Charlie’s all the time… the last year though, the food is absolute trash. Every time we order, the fries are severely under done. We decided to pick up Charlie’s tonight for dinner just to try them again.. bad choice. Fries under done completely.. soggy, pale, cold. Onion rings, also ice cold and gummy in the center since they’re not fried fully. The cheese fries we ordered were MELTED to the plastic at the bottom of the take out box… fries also under done. But the chicken tenders somehow were burnt. Called to complain, the manager wanted us to bring the food back.. we live 15 minutes away.. you want us to bring it back to receive a refund? What about the gas wasted? This is absolutely disgraceful and sad for the Charlie’s restaurant name… never ever will I eat here again and I will always tell everyone I know how disgusting this place has gotten.
Charlie’s Restaurant has the best and most personable staff. They have good food portions, too. Today for lunch, I tried the chicken lemon rice and chili dog with cheese. It was delicious. I recommend asking for soup to be extra hot if you like your soup hot. Great place to eat! The hot dog with the chili with cheese was good, too.
