The food, as always, was terrific. The shish tawook is so juicy and tender.The waitress, on the other hand, was not even mildly friendly.We've gone to Byblos since it opened, over 30 years ago. And the service has always been good. But, this gal was obviously quite bothered by having to work. And we were not a tough table.Food - 5 stars. Service - 1.5 stars, all due to the waitress. The water boy was kind and cheerful.
One of the few restaurants where i can get a meal better than home cooking. Fantastic Lebanese and Italian classics.
We ordered pick-up. This was some AMAZING grape leaves, hummus, and kofta. It actually was the Best meal we've had In a while! Large portions, and the price was extremely reasonable for the amount they give you. When we got there to pick it up, the cashier was so sweet and kind. She brought our food as soon as it was done, making sure we got it while hot. When we got home, the food was hot, well packaged with the cold items and hot as described. The staff, cook, wait staff and everyone were terrific!!! Amazing atmosphere, well lit for a romantic date, or any occasion. Very cool pictures, and music, as well as very clean, and handicap accessible for a wheelchair, (elevator) as well as a bar. I am glad my husband had a hankering for grape leaves, because this turned out to be an amazing place to get food. We will be back! My struggle is deciding what to eat when I go. It is all very good. Middle Eastern food is good in general, Byblos does it really well
Food was very delicious, service was fantastic, our waitress Angie was a delight. I would highly recommend Byblos, especially the baby lamb chop appetizer. ?
This was my first time there, but will not be my last. Everything was delicious. The service was excellent.
Along with the Beirut across town, gold standard for Mediterranean food in Toledo. Never disappoints with grape leaves, falafel salad, lentil soup. I honestly won't eat grape leaves anywhere else.
Dined here for Valentines, when our server asked if everything was ok I told her my beef had not been cooked well and was very red so I couldn’t eat it. She did nothing to put it right and the bill was not adjusted. This is actually the 2nd time this has happened here so I am thinking they do not want to make the customer happy or correct their mistakes which is a shame.
Went to Byblos a few weeks ago for the first time with a large group. They have an area that is cozy for this. Their food is excellent and encompasses most of the Mediterranean including Italian a pleasant surprise! Everything looked homemade and tasted wonderful!
I've never been so impressed by the food display and the customer service. Great food as well.
