The steak wasnât as good as weâve had in the past -otherwise good food and great service
Lucy was amazing - food, cleanliness and ambiance not great. The floors greasy - the place not clean - food ok. Wonât be returning but you have a great server if you can get the rest right. Good luck.
Although we came in super late (20 mins until close) we had a wonderful experience! All thanks to our waitress Olivia who was absolutely WONDERFUL! She was very attentive and tended to all our needs and made sure everything was perfect. I hope to get her again when I return!
Restaurant was dirty. No ambiance. Smell of burning beef. Need better ventilation. The help was kettle to be desired but understandable with todays work force. Chicken stir fry was over sauced by about 3 times. Inedible. Artichoke spinach dip had no artichokes in it and the bread was fried and greasy. Just not a very good experience for the EXTREMELY high end prices.
First time at a Black Rock. Service was nice and the food was good!
We absolutely loved our meal here. However, having to wait for two hours for our meal was ridiculous. We got our drinks after 15 minutes and our appetizer a half hour later, then salads at about 1 1/2 hours and then waited another half hour to get our meals. While we loved our food and the whole experience, our friends that had never been there before were not impressed with the service and I was embarrassed. The business was not busy and there were plenty of open tables. We then watched another table get seated and within 20 minutes had their meals.
It was the 1 st time there. We tried a couple appetizers and meals and shared them. The onion soup and the lobster bisque was amazing. The spinach dip and the lobster dip were awesome and the bread was out of this world. French dip with the onion rings so wonderful. The atmosphere was so relaxing and staff very helpful and very friendly. I don't think we had anything wrong and would definitely recommend and will definitely go back, the next time we would like to try again something new and different from what we would normally get. Thank you so much for making this an absolutely great experience.
Never would come back servers just standing around set priority seating had to wait 20 minutes and it wasnât a wait . Then waited a hour for food that was prepped in the back And was cold
Okay experience. There have been mistakes on our last couple of visits and unfortunately the service seems to be starting to go downhill. This time a key ingredientâthe feta cheeseâwas missing from my âpremiumâ side and our server kept disappearing for long periods of time. She clearly had too many tables assigned. My husband obviously received the wrong cut of meat and we questioned whether there was an error, but were told no. The error was in our favor; so, we didnât argue the point. Certain seating areas are under lights that shine like spotlights on whomever is seated under them. That was the case this time. We were also seated at a table with greasy hand prints and food crumbs on the booth seats, which our server took care of when we asked. Except for the missing ingredient, the food was great. It seemed like our server was trying to take good care of all of her tables, but had too many to keep up with. Not her fault.
First time experience. Excellent! Food quantity and quality was exceptional.
