We arrived for dinner and was told we would have a 30 minute wait. There were many tables and booths available. The young man at the desk said they were short of help. I asked if we could sit at a table by the bar and have a cocktail. No one was wearing a mask, but he said we could not go from the bar to a table, but the waitresses could. It did not make sense to me. The waitress was not very friendly. The three of us were not happy with our dinners. My sister's grilled chicken was dried out, my oriental salad had to much dressing and my chicken was way over cooked. I felt the place was poorly run.
There is a cook there and he never takes a shower EVER he looks like a greese ball he smells never washs his hands and touching and preparing food and don't we're gloves. has long greasy black hair with no hair net completely disgusting still don't understand how he has a job if you ever want to eat at Applebee's make sure Tim does not touch your food. The only reason the manager says she doesn't fire him is because he's reliable. I work there for a brief period of time and could not believe how disgusting some of the kitchen staff was and how they were allowed to prepare and touch people's food I allowed this guy to stay with me and only found out how nasty and disgusting he really was after he stayed in my home and then watched him prepare and cook food with other disbelief try to tell the staff but they did not listen Timothy Monroe make sure you ask to not allow him to prepare your food I am just trying to warn anybody who wants to eat at Applebee's
First time to this particular location called 5 minutes before arriving to the restaurant to check to see how long the wait was they told me there was no wait came in and then told me it was a 35 minute wait very disappointed really don't particularly care for Applebee's chain of restaurant only come there for the wonton chicken tacos! Definitely would not return.
Only thing half way decent was appetizers steak cooked all wrong . Quality of meat for the shrimp and steak sirloin bad ver bad I chewed and chewed and left alot of tendants and fat for my napkin. Wish I would of taken photos .I didn't want to offend the person taking out for my belated birthday. I wish I would of know she would of fb it as a awful experience. Better off trying the Mexican restaurant next door.
The food tasted good and our waitress Aliya was amazing but, I got the baby back ribs and there was literally almost no meat on the ribs at all! Pretty much paid for a rack of bones. I'm trying to find the right word for the ribs but I can't. They tasted great when there was some meat to find. My wife said her steak was cooked good but it was tough. Daughter loved her cheese burger tho. The fries were really good. If it wasn't for our server being so good it would have been 2 stars. I get you can't really expect much from Applebee's but come on with those ribs. Do better Applebee's do better
I crave the quesadilla beef burger, I decided to share it with my daughter this visit. So many years ago when I first experienced the quesadilla burger I loved the gooey saucy juicy mess presented on a patch of salad greens. We have come a long way baby . Presented crisply toasted pita no green no gooey.Sad but not so disappointed as flavor was there and the enjoyment .Thank you
Ordered by door dash chicken and broccoli was good and ordered chicken strips with garlic mashed potatoes and they sent fries instead.. The fries were cold and limpy.. Never will order that again
I got curbside to go so I could eat grilled chicken for work tonight. The chicken is so black and burnt I can barely cut into it and tastes absolutely terrible.
This place clearly can’t handle anything. We ordered delivery and it was missing 3 items. All of our food was cold and hard like it was cooked an hour ago. Called the store to ask how we can solve the issue and they said sorry but I’ll need to call customer service tomorrow. No offer to remake, no refund, nothing, so now our whole family is out dinner and the money it cost.
Absolutely the worst Applebees in America right here in Toledo. The services was terrible. No one had a clue what was going on we had 2 different servers. The hostess greeted up by throwing her phone on the stand and then let out the most outrageous moan like we were a bother to her. Off the bat not welcoming at all. The restaurant was out of almost everything we ordered. I ordered a quesadilla burger about 20 min later after our server is sitting on another table with 3 other servers he decided to let me know they cannot make it. Didn’t even bother to bring over a menu for me to pick something out. I felt rushed ordered a chicken salad and French onion soup because he was breathing down my neck to order something right away probably since the others food was ready in the back. If you like frozen soup and horrible service be my guest and hangout at this Applebees. I will NEVER be returning to this establishment. I didn’t even bother talking to the manager that was sitting at the bar the entire time If he can’t find something to do with himself while they are open he won’t do anything about the poor service. Tacky and lazy manager causes lazy and poor employees.
