Very clean and nice bar/restaurant. Food was quickly served and wonderful. I highly recommend.
I've been to the local probably a half dozen times and have never been disappointed! Stephanie is fabulous always friendly and in a good mood and remembers you when you walk in the door and what you're drinking. The pretzels, Philly quesadilla and loaded waffle fries are exceptionally delicious!
20 bucks for a ruben that I'm sure would have been great if they didn't try to pass roast beef as corned beef not cool not happy. You could have called and let me know it was 86'd also it's the most cross cut beef I've ever had which makes it tough and chewy a little quality control goes along way. ALSO IVE NOTICED YOU'RE A KEYBOARD WARRIOR SO PLEASE.. TRY ME...
My group of family & friends enjoyed our first experience at The Local Bar on trivia night. Shout-out to our awesome server Stephanie who did a great job managing the huge crowd of tables. We got a variety of food, but the standouts were definitely the kielbasa pierogies & philly beef hot dog. Totally fair prices for the quality. We'll be back for sure!!
I was looking for a place to go for my birthday but After reading the responses by the owner I changed my mind about this place. I am appalled and will not be going here. Maybe the owner should be a little less defensive and a little more customer service oriented. Way to attract more business.
Sounds like a pretty good place from most of the reviews. But I just can't understand the rebutting tone of the comments coming from the owner. No way to address customers like that. But I will be checking out The Local this Friday and to also see Gypsy.
Booked 2 tickets for NYE - $80 each - was to include a steak dinner, live entertainment & open bar. What a disappointment - band was changed without any notification through the site we purchased the tickets from (advertised that this was to begin @ 7:00 pm but didn't start until 8:30 pm), dinner didn't offer any vegetable, when we EVEN requested mushrooms as an alternative or substitute, they said they didn't have any although EACH and EVERY steak dinner after ours that came out had mushrooms. Absolutely ZERO NYE decorations. When we spoke to the manager about our disappointment, she began turn it on us and tell us that we have NO IDEA how many problems they are having, (that's not our fault). She said someone (either herself or the owner) would be contacting us to discuss receiving a refund on at least 1 ticket but have heard absolutely NOTHING back from anyone up to this point. Huge disappointment, poor planning and terrible customer relations! $160 for 2 steak dinners without any vegetable, 5 beers and 1 glass of wine - what a deal! We ended up leaving at 9:30 pm and have no intention of returning based upon the non-responsiveness and or concern of the issues we shared and were very transparent about.Update - first, you are 100% wrong that we received mushrooms even when we asked, second, your employee has definitely either mislead or failed to respect you enough to tell you the whole story and truth. Based upon your response, we certainly understand why things played out the way they did. You've really proven what a CLASS ACT you are. I didn't expect anything different based upon your previous responses to posts where you may have fallen short as well. To stoop to the level of name calling is shameful on your behalf. I am sure this entire situation and or how to effectively handle it is beyond your comprehension based upon what I've previously seen and have personally received.
I love that there's something going on every night of the week up there whether it's Jam night on Mondays, trivia Wednesdays, or the live entertainment on the weekends that's second to none. They have pool and dart leagues multiple nights a week, the menu is original and draft and liquor choices are plenty.
Great wings, my friend had the Local burger and said it was great. I took home a grilled chicken sandwich and it was very tough. 2 out of 3 isn't bad I guess.
Been there a few time for comedy night and band nights. The Service is great and the food is outstanding. Every time i have gone its been a great time. I would definitely recommend a cold beer and some food.
