Food was great. This is a Japanese hibachi restaurant. It seems like a special occasion kind of place. We were there to celebrate my son in law's birthday and there was another birthday being celebrated at the next table. It was a little noisy. Half the reason to go is the show that the chefs put on. Ours did a great job. It's not cheap, but it was worth it. Recommended.
Waiter was quick to take order, however very slow at providing service. Drinks came well after our food was cooked. Filet was over cooked and then we were given the bums rush to eat and leave. The waiter kept trying to clear our plates while we were clearly still eating. We ordered dessert only to be told they were out of it, which led us to believe that they just wanted to turn the table over. When you only have 3 desserts how are you not properly stocked. When you are paying this amount of money I don’t expect to be pushed out within an hour. Be sure to check out the other Japanese restaurants in the same area if you want a fun and relaxing dinner.
Took one hour and 45 minutes to get our food. Clearly, to go orders were given priority as they were flying off the shelves. Inside the restaurant we could see everyone who wasn’t at the hibachi tables that they were all waiting ridiculous amounts to time. My son’s hibachi was great but the sushi wasn’t stellar, only acceptable. One out of five rolls was exceptional we will not be visiting this location again
It was my birthday and my husband called to let them know six of us would be dining for my birthday. We had a few appetizers. The sushi was great but the shrimp cocktail wasn’t cold and a little dry. Moving on….. We ordered hibachi meals. The guy who made the hibachi kept referring to my two daughters’ and I as, “Baby”. It completely grossed us out. My husband felt like he was being demeaning as well. I am generally NOT a sensitive person who takes offense to things. However, this was just not welcomed or appreciated. It was also my birthday and nobody sang to me, as they did other tables. No biggie because I don’t really want to celebrate being a year older. Lol! Just the icing on the cake. Pun intended! ????
Drove an hour to this resturant because of friends who told us it was amazing, and let me tell you they did not disappoint. Atmosphere was perfect, everyone was friendly and funny, and the food was out of this world. I had the Filet and it just melted in my mouth. I'm not huge on sushi or fish, so I had this option instead. Best cut steak I've ever had. The flavors were so delicious. We also had the vegetable Mahi rolls and man they were delicious as well. Fresh, Hot, and the flavors just popped. I'll drive an hour here again to try more things that's forsure.*UPDATE*We went here again on Valentines day and got a different cook who was even better then before. The food is just so amazing. We haven't been disappointed yet. I want to go back again already. The Black Ridge Wine is perfection if you are looking for am amazing wine to try.Cant wait for our next visit.I also tried the fried cheesecake and the ice cream tempura and they were so yummy!!!
We come here all the time and always have a great experience but the last two times we have gone but the place was dirty, food was under cooked (shrimp, scallops) or food was cold, our drinks had food floating in the glass, they tried to give us take home containers with old food sticking inside of it and the waiter even said they had to reuse them because they ran out, and a girl was passed out in the bathroom throwing up all over herself in the middle stall. It will take a little time before we attempt to go back the experience was so bad and just grossed me out.
Our cook was Victor....He was very fun! Food was great! Nice experience, this was my 2nd time here.
As Always this is more than a meal. It's an experience. One we will remember. Staff servers cooks owners awesome as usual.
Great environment and great food! The sweet potato sushi was delicious and the teriyaki sauce was very sweet. Definitely want to come back to try more!
