Been a customer for several years. Lately, this place has gone downhill big time. Pizza is consistently late, arrives cold, and barely has any toppings. Calling is pointless, they are rude. The delivery fee now is nearly $5, and they demand tips on top of that. As much as I love pizza, not ordering Papa Johns from this location ever again.
Only been here once but it was much better tasting than the last two pizzas I ordered from another location and the worker was super friendly even though it was near closing. I think he was the manager and he even told me how he will put the pizzas in to come out on time instead of early so they are fresher for carryout
Ordered at 6:15pm.. 36 minute wait...... called at 7:15pm... said it was just comming out of the oven i also was hung up on... no show, called at 8pm.. said it was finishing up??.. arrived 2 hours late and was missing part of our order. We had no power since 6pm so we couldnt cook, so this was a huge let down for my family. No refund, no discount, no nothing.
I have had great pizza at every other Papa John's on the planet except this one. We had a simple, but specific order. A stuffed crust, pizza, with extra, sauce. We get this thing, its like the thinnest floppiest pizza I have ever had the misfortune to eat, and there was next to no sauce on it. :(. Why offer extra when you're going to skimp on the customers anyway? Food cost that bad? Most other Papas give you more peppers and garlic sauces on the side. I get greed and minimum wage pay making people hate their jobs, but it showed through big time in lack of quality. Everyone I talk to in Strongsville says this Papa John's is the worst. I didn't want to believe it but, yep I agree. I am sad to say that.
The guy who works there is great, I might do takeout but that's where it ends. Delivery is handled by DoorDash, and is consistently late. Last time I ordered a pizza at 7:23 PM on a Wednesday, the Papa John's receipt showed the "Out Time" at 8:00 PM. I finally received my cold pizza at 8:35 PM (I live 2 miles from this location). If you try to call them, the number sends you to a call center that's of no help. Next time I'll visit a local pizza place to avoid this aggravation.

Edit: the GM Houston reached out to me personally, apologized for the situation, threw out the batch of rotten sauce, and gave me a refund. Changing to 5 stars because I’ve never had a fast service restaurant go above and beyond like that. Thank you!! I understand issues sometimes happens and I’d gladly come back again now. Sincerely thank you :)Just got our order and the breadstick dipping sauce was rotten. Not being picky it was actually separating and smelled rancid. Sadly I didn’t check it before tasting it ?
Ordered a papadia, quick and easy. Was ready when I walked,got home and it was delicious.
8/15/2021 5pm.Just an overall weird experience. Only two people working and they were bickering the whole time and cussing. Were wearing overly casual clothes, wouldn’t know they worked for Papa John’s.Watched my pizzas come out of the oven 15 minutes apart.Pizza took forever.
They are very consistent in their pizza and that's why I choose them whenever wanting to eat pizza.
