First time customer. Throwback decorations are interesting for a couple of minutes of wait time but suggest a video screen with classic clips could make the wait time a bit more entertaining. Now on with the show - Ordered a meatball and a tuna sub (BTW, they do offer a (Hot) Tuna melt. Boomers will get the reference.) Very tasty. Meatballs were good sized and sauce was aces. Tuna is fresh, not over dressed, and plentiful compared to other toppings. The shredded cheese is a signature move. Cost compared to size make it kind of pricey compared to other chains. Sub rolls are far superior though, crusty and fresh. Service was good - appreciate the sandwich maker's craft. I did spot something that could be a hangup in a busy situation. Staff needs to practice a more assertive manner in announcing ready orders. I was told they don't use order numbers at Dave's -- I get it. "At Daves, we want it to be a personal experience. So say it loud and proud when you don't remember who goes with what sandwich. "I got a Meatball and a Tuna ready to roll." Rock on!
My sandwich was so good. I ordered a salad also. Croutons & dressing were good, but my lettuce was shredded lettuce.. like you would put in a sandwich. For a $9 salad, the description it says Romain.. But it wasn’t ?
First of all, these guys are fast. I've been to a few other locations, and have always had to wait for my food. I've been here like 4 times already and they always make my food super fast.Secondly, it tastes amazing. Their Crazy Dave is stupid good. It represents a flavor profile I didn't realize you could produce with cold cuts. The entire menu is top tier, but the Crazy Dave stands on it's own.
Dave's is great but this location isn't the best. They are always yapping away like there's no tomorrow....They also never give me a pickle! =o|
First time and won’t be my last time. I got the original Dave sub, oh lard that sauces make my taste buds sing! Definitely will be back. One note, pickles need to be pickled longer but other than that delicious!
Meh, not sure Strongsville needed another sub place but I figured I'd give it a try. Pretty average across the board. Pricing felt high but I think it's about standard these days at about 8 or 9 dollars a sub, size was adequate and flavors we're fine. On the plus side if you're coming from south of 82, you avoid some traffic. Won't avoid them, but won't go out of my way to visit. A solid 3 stars
Hello this is Steven the foodie guy here today I went here first time ever and my last time here what a waste of money for a small was $9 and it was a turkey sub number 13 on a menu board two pieces of turkey big deal wow and a bread is rock hard very very bad place and a pickle tasted like garbage would look like a cucumber had so many tons of seeds on it I will say though the sauce on the sub I will give that a straight 10 the sauce the day's famous sauce that's a straight 10 everything else I give it a probably about us five to five three just very skimpy on the meat and I just thought the bread be more fresher like it was like kind of like old and crusty and crunchy
So glad this place opened in Strongsville. I We had meatball and a Reuban, both we were outstanding.
Outstanding sandwich! Very fresh bread and toppings, lightly seasoned, lightning fast service, friendly staff :)
For only being open for 4 days, this place rocks. I'm shocked to see that 2 people left a 1 star review on literally the stores opening weekend, in the middle of a pandemic and the greatest staffing shortage we've ever seen. Ofcourse there is going to be a learning curve and some glitches with technology. I'm super grateful to finally have a location close by and I hope they stick around and find a ton of success. They have gluten free and dairy free options that none other sub places around have short of getting a salad. This is an amazing chain I'm happy to see growing in my neck of the woods.
