I went today with my daughter, her boyfriend and my father. Our waiter, Joey, was absolutely amazing. He made sure we were properly taken care of. The food was great, both me and my dad had the chicken and the kids had steak and burgers. I recommend going early because they are shirt staffed. We only had a 30 minute wait, but I was expecting that so I went in early to get a table. When you go ask for Joey!
I absolutely love this Applebees location. Every time I visit this restaurant I have a wonderful time. I dine here quite frequently and have never been disappointed in the food or services provided. It gets better with every visit. I definitely recommend this location! The staff are very lovely, friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere is amazing and I will definitely be back. I've been here more times than i can count.?? Keep up the great work guys.
The food was clean, non greasy and well prepared. Although the atmosphere is becoming a bit dated at this location, it's clean and upbeat.They do need to hire more wait staff or have them just pick up the slack because there is no need to have people wait when the place is over half empty. At least seat people and allow then to wait sitting down.Also, the hostess can start drinks in this case, instead of wiping menus down.PS- Our server was great on all aspects last Friday night.
My hubby and I stop by this location because we try to go to another location and it was pack and noone were telling the customer anything it was short of staff for sure and Not even a manager or supervisor came to the front just to let everyone there waiting that it was perhaps a little problem that is the one at Southgate...so we desired to come to this location very ,clean seat almost right away, our server was very nice and polite and believe me this location at Strongsville was busy too and it was alot of people seating and eating....atmosphere nice..
Better service at mcdonalds. We ordered 2 of their specialty drinks took 30 minutes. She came back to confirm drink order and the drinks still came out wrong. Then we all got the same exact meal cheeseburger with fries and 4 of the 5 dishes came out. It was another 15 minutes before the last plate came out everyone else done eating by the time it made it. At the start of the meal we were asked and specified how checks were done she still put all on one check. For only 5-6 other tables filled and the at least 5 foh workers on staff it was a disgusting experience.
Usually enjoy going to Applebee's but lately they have been horrible. I will say our waitress was wonderful, but the food.... My gf and I both ordered MR steaks, and I understand it's Applebee's not a steakhouse but there was not red, no pink, they came out Well Done +. As a restaurant employee for over 2 decades I really try not to send food back but these were WAAAAY over done. So we showed the waitress, she agreed and apologized and had them remade...came out the same exact way. The cook had told the waitress that the temp was correct...pretty sure the cook didn't understand how to actually cook a steak. I understand that restaurants are understaffed and it's rough right now, but this was 530 on a Monday night and they were not busy, this was a lack of training/knowledge issue and a manager never even attempted to come over and talk to us. Pretty pathetic customer service. I understand things happen, it's how you handle it afterwards that matters and apparently management felt ignoring the issue was the best route.
Good food, decent service, good price. I like that they have a lot of food options that have good calorie counts. (if you're not on a diet, they also have food options with... not-good calorie counts haha)Recommended.
Great service! Servers are extremely nice and it is generally quiet but for a few people. Definitely my best Applebee's experience i have had.
Perfect place for us mid-shifters to grab a late dinner. Service is friendly,restaurant is clean and the food is always hot and made right.
