Excellent service and food! Worth the 25 min drive from Cols. Will be heading here after the flea markets!!
We are not from around here and we wanted to try a local restaurant. This was the best burger I have had in a very long time . Everything was great ! Food, service , and atmosphere! We will visit everyone we are in this area !
Haven't been there for a long time. It has changed much. The menu isn't huge but enough to satisfy everyone. Every item we had was excellent. The Creme Brulee is amazing.
Great menu options but chef was not able to deliver on technique. Some positives were: Bar drinks are awesome and service was great.
Nice little place. Quiet and not too busy for lunch through the week. So far we’ve enjoyed everything from the cheese curds to the Gyro.
First time here but won't be the last. Staff was friendly and relaxed. My wife had the shrimp and grits and said it was as good as any in the southern USA. I had the catfish with red beans and rice. The catfish had a very light cornmeal coating that was crunchy, but did not hold the grease at all. It was a very light and fluffy fish that tasted fresh. It was 2 large fillets. The red beans and rice were perfectly cooked. The beans were not mushy but weren't hard as a rock either. The drink prices were very reasonable and they had a good selection of beers, wines, and spirits. Can't wait to go back!
The best food ever! I ordered the pork chops, so tender. And the Mac and cheese is out of this world!!! Wish we had a Ridgewood Cafe in Columbus! Service was exceptional as well! If we are back in the area 100% eating here again!!
Very disappointed last several times there. I kept going back because I really liked this place. Feel like they are going downhill. Last time was it. My dish didn't come as ordered. They ran out of it but didnt tell me. Husbands chichken & pasta had no chicken. Friends salmon dish was sent back because it was cold then came back with raw salmon. We were advised by the waitress not to re-order the kitchen was 45 minutes behind. She said Chris the owner was in the kitchen & would come talk with us. Never happened. I sent Chris a private message letting him know about the problems. Telling him the lack of compensation and or apology that night was enough incentive to not return. His simple reply saying sorry haven't had any other problems like this (I have heard other complaints).and that he understood why we wouldn't be back came across as insincere and careless.
My first time at the Ridgewood and it was a great experience, friendly and welcoming. Very good salads and try the Walleye. Excellent service.
Great little place. Amazing food. Interesting atmosphere for a small joint.
