The Painted Pepper catered our Bridal shower at CoHatch and everyone absolutely loved the food! It was delicious snd hand down the best tortilla chips and salsas I’ve ever had! They went above and beyond and took great care! Thank you for making our event a wonderful experience for all!
Painted Pepper has the best fish tacos. Big portion of fish , red cabbage and a cilantro sauce to die for. Yummy !! ☺️
Amanda and Louie Ortega have outdone themselves. The pulled pork tacos are wonderful and The fish tacos are like eating hush puppies in a taco shell. So good and I can’t wait to try more of their selections. ??

This is tasty, fresh, southwestern fare.During this visit to Springfield, I tried the chicken quesadilla with Texas caviar (again). It was just as good the second time as it was the first time. Service is friendly, And the countertops are positively sparkling clean. Having only tried one menu item here, I couldn’t say everything on the menu is wonderful because I don’t know. Hence the four star versus five stars. I will try something else on the menu next time I am in town!
