This Steak-N-Shake was amazing. I was with the television crew that was filming in Springfield and I needed a late night meal for around 50 people and this location could not have been more helpful. I called early and they helped me work through the best options for our specific needs. The food was ready when we needed it, packaged perfectly, and was a HUGE hit with our crew. Thank you again for showing how great the people of Springfield are!
Ordered online for curbside pickup. Arrived and called the number twice with nobody picking it up. Went inside and found my order sitting there. Grabbed it, food was cold and shake was melted. They were not busy, just lazy. I use to love steak ‘n shake but don’t know if I will ever eat at one again. The Springfield franchise is a disgrace.
Steak n shake has drastically changed the way they are serving food. You order and pay at a kiosk screen, wait for your food, and pick it up at the counter. There is little to no table service and the menu is significantly reduced. The food was decently cooked and came out quickly. Just be prepared that this is not the same way they used to operate.
took me Around 9 months to eat at this establishment I used to love it about 15 years ago when I ate at a steak and shake I waited about 30 minutes to see if their computers would come back up and they didn't so I chose to go there the very next day at lunch I ordered two combos with shakes got home to this Little bitty Burger couple fries for around 30 bucks .ridiculous
Just ordered here for the 1st time in years...1) I had to order in store bc the app didn't work2) The portions of food are like the child menu size anywhere else3) The cost for the portions is horrible4) The store was very dirty5) The milkshakes were like drinking icy milk, not thick at all6) Had to go home & make food afterwards7) We will not eat here again
Drive thru order DISASTER. We visited on Tuesday evening around 7 PM. The staff were friendly enough, but our food was terrible. My son had a hair on his cheeseburger, my daughter's specialty shake that cost 3.00 was over half way full with whipped cream, and all of our fries were cold. Not to mention our cheeseburgers we ordered weren't accurate and had the wrong toppings on them. We will not be going back anytime soon.
My food was cold. Tables not clean. Whatever staff that they did have was unfriendly and preoccupied. I would not recommend to anyone
Haven't been to Springfield Steak n Shake in a few years because bad service. Went through the drive thru today about 2:30 p.m. Fast, friendly service and the whole order was right. Kudos Steak n Shake? I would love to start coming back

My friend loves their bacon and cheese double burgers and their shakes, so I take her through the drive thru often. I rarely get anything for myself because I when I get a soda they mess it up. Today I ordered a Dr. Pepper and I have no idea what it is but it is definitely not Dr. Pepper. This is why I never get anything, they mess it up.
