Due to several circumstances Saturday, I had to walk into O'Charley's lobby around lunch time & place an order at the front desk. They were very friendly, professional, & quickly accommodated me. The waitress even added extra rolls into my bag without being asked. I was very impressed with the service I received & look forward to going back when we can stay longer & enjoy a great meal!
The service was good, but the food was meh...The stuffed crabs...you are better off getting crab cakes because it was a pain to get the shell separated from the edible parts. They use to have pie Wednesday, but they switched to cobbler...but there was so much crust it just seemed like leftover pie a la mode. (And the ice cream costs extra) I was expecting more filling or maybe a tasty crumble. It was disappointing.
We seem to frequently have the same young lady taking our phone order and bringing it to the car… wish I knew her name as she in particular is very nice and helpful. I hate to say this but our “to go” orders for pick up are rather hit and miss unfortunately. Not consistent. Sometimes all is just fabulous and other times, not so great and disappointing… I guess I should open it all while in my car and check it each one and all before I leave… probably depends upon who the chef is on a particular evening. I would like to give 3 stars for sometimes and 4 stars for other times… soooo I will just give 4 stars due to the young lady who we frequently get is so nice…
They have great food (Louisiana sirloin, ask for extra cajun butter on it... its delicious!). We received wonderful service, our waitress was attentive but not overbearing. The atmosphere was perfect for a nice peaceful dinner with my family member.
Got the grilled Salmon for a take out meal to go. Got the rice and baked potato. Even traveling all the way home the meal was still warm and tasty. This time I chose the regular grilled Salmon not on the cedar plank. I have to say it wasn't quite as good but still had pretty delicious flavor. The fish was seasoned nicely and texture was flaky and firm. The rice was moist with nice flavor. They packed the ingredients for a loaded baked potato on the side so you could add what you like. Very thoughtful. The baked potato was cooked perfectly. I would have liked a bigger piece of fish but I understand there are two sizes and I selected the small one. Overall a great meal. I will order this again
We just went today for a birthday dinner and it was HORRIBLE? Everything was bland, the ribs and tenders way over cooked... my steak was like they boiled it?? We will not be going back. For those prices we will go elsewhere.
Pleasantly surprised with the Louisiana sirloin. It was exceptionally good and cooked to order. It was very tender and seasoned perfectly. The broccoli was also excellent as it was fresh and not overcooked. The salad was huge for a side salad and was also fresh. Vinegarette dressing was tasty.Service was also great. Lily was very attentive and professional. I'll be back for more steak!
Went here to celebrate my moms birthday and received terrible service from our server. Got our order wrong. The kitchen staff is not competent at cooking a steak. Ordered a medium steak and it came out blue rare…that means it was red raw middle and bleeding. Medium means warm pink center. The server threw a fit about me sending my steak back. Told it would be a long before I received my meal again and she was right. They brought out my plate with the blood from the previous steak all over the mashed potatoes, broccoli and salmon. I sent it back yet again. The steak came out very well done, thin and dry. Again not what I ordered. They ended up taking off a few dollars after I complained. You guys need to train your staff. This is unacceptable. I have never had a competently cooked steak from this restaurant and constantly see steak after from other tables being sent back. The bill came to the table and they charged me twice for my meal. I had them fix the bill and server threw another fit saying our table was having lots of issues with things and stormed off. Thanks for giving my mother a terrible birthday dinner
Slow service slow drinks slow everything Margaritas well… they sucked didn’t even taste like they had any tequila in them worst margarita I’ve ever had. When your at a restaurant for 2&1/2 hours for dinner that’s just outrageous The 1/2 hour was the wait.
