Waited to at least be acknowledged for several min. Seen employee look at me from outside where they were smoking and made no effort what so ever to even approach me as I walked past them out the back door.Ive been here before and equally bad performance..Not again!!
I order from this store frequently and usually the delivery is not that bad but today when I order, takes two hours AFTER the expected delivery time to be delivered. So I called the store, the lady on the other end was rude, didn't seem like she even cared. Finally, when the delivery driver knocks on the door, I open the door and she's walking away WITH my food. And to top all of that off, food arrives cold.
We ordered pepperoni and banana peppers and they were very skimpy ☹️
I like this donatos better than the one on Burnett. The staff was friendly efficient and the restaurant was clean. I live further away from this donatos but I’ve never had a problem whenever we have come here to pick up. A pizza. Best one in Springfield
DELIVERY GUY YELLED AT ME!!!! I was at work and decided to get Donatos. I placed an order for delivery. I didn’t have cash so I paid with my card when I placed the order. It gave me the option to give a tip. I thought this would be better because I didn’t have any cash. So I gave a $4 tip. When the delivery guy came he handed me my receipt for me to sign. I drew a line through the tip part because I already tipped him. He got mad and started yelling at me about drawing a line through the tip. When I explain to him I had already paid the tip online when I paid for the ordered he started yelling at me telling me I didn’t. My coworkers and I were not only shocked but I was embarrassed and really upset. I told him again I did give him a tip. I paid for it when I paid for the pizza. He once again started yelling at me saying I did not. I signed the receipt and give it back to him. He just stood there holding my food. I gave him a motion to give me my food. After a second he finally handed my food over and stormed out. All I have to say is he is lucky I couldn’t take my tip back. After all that he really doesn’t deserve one!!
Definitely wouldn't have given it a star if I didn't have to. I think it's crazy the employees stand around outside and sit around chatting in the lobby all night then make the closing driver do all the closing duties instead of getting up to help . I call the store to let my child's father know our son was taken to the hospital by squad because he is really sick and he isn't even able to come be with him but then he isn't able to even come pick us up and take us home because he has to do all the closing procedures before he can leave because everyone else is to busy chatting. I myself would be gone regardless like yall figure it out ima go be with my child
Got the works pizza and a Italian sub on Fri Jan 21st at 3pm placed order earlier in the day. Got it home was the worst pizza we have ever gotten there. I'm telling you mushrooms were burnt black and the onions were cut into quarters and thrown on it. It was not pleasing to the eye or much for eating. I was very disappointed!The eatery places in Springfield have gotten terrible, might as well try making new recipes at home!Ruth
Ordered pizza and subs for work at 11:00am to be delivered for lunch at 12:00pm. Here it is 2:00pm still no food. We finally got our food at 2:30pm lunch was over at 12:30. This Donatos was on North Limestone St in Springfield Ohio. No sorry we were late. No sorry we will give you a discount. So guess what Donatos we will go else where. Never use you again. Our order was over $65.00.
In the world of pizza, there is an inverse correlation between the price of the pizza and the likelihood it will cause rot gut. Donatos is on the pricier side, but it is the least likely to cause rot gut. That being said oh, these two have this location is always friendly and curtious to their customers.They also have quite a wide variety of toppings and specialty pizzas to choose from. All of them are extremely tasty but you pay a little bit more compared to other pizza places.
