Old fashion store to give you that nostalgic feeling of when you were kid from snacks candy, soaps baskets, toys, hangs signs and clothing after walking through the store that take you back in time go sit and enjoy some 20 century meals which is what we after the food is delicious order anything that's on the menu. There is a big variety for breakfast and other meals for kids as well adults. Go ahead your only regret is that you did not walk with more cash as there are so many things in the store that you would love to take home.
Got soup for lunch and pot roast dinner to save for dinner. Decided on the chicken noodle soup. There are huge chunks of white meat chicken breast in the soup. It is loaded with vegetables. The broth is thick and full of flavor. The bowl size is a good portion compared to other restaurant sizes. It tasted really good. I look forward to some of the other soups. The only negative was they didn't give us any of the blackberry jam we ordered for the biscuits. The jam has a great taste but we didn't get any this time.
This place is really hit-or-miss. Sometimes they are friendly you get all your food hot or drink you even get eating utensils. Sometimes you go in there and it's like you just killed their cat and you're going to eat your food with your fingers because they're going to send you with your to-go order with nothing in the bag and not a smile to be seen. But on the plus side more often than not it's usually a good experience instead of a bad experience. And they have amazing pancakes!
Country atmosphere, laid back and relaxing.. also has a really nice gift shop with unique items. Love the old family photos and heirlooms they use for decoration. The staff is pleasant and fairly quick with service. Great place to take your grandparents parents or even a family.
Always good home style cooking. Great options that can be reliably prepared well. Friendly service, and the fun of looking around in the store if you have any wait for a table.
I love this Cracker Barrel. The Cracker Barrel’s in Michigan are disgusting. We stopped here on a whim while in Ohio and I ordered Fried Catfish and it was superb. The place is clean and they know how to cook!! Love it. Will definitely be back.
I just picked up a Curbside order from the Leffels Lane location. After waiting for 45 minutes, I called to see what was taking so long. I was told that my food had been ready and sitting for a while. I checked my order when it was finally brought out to me. My food wasn't even warm, it was cold. My over medium eggs had fully cooked, cold middles and the bacon was burnt. Worst curbside experience I have ever had.
Edit Neil corrected the issue and remade everything the right way. This matter has been resolved and the rating has been adjusted accordingly. Thanks Neil.Disappointing experience again. This was a replacement order and i asked for medium rare... Umm I don't think this is medium rare. My steak is still mooing. Regardless food poisoning isn't my cup of tea and I definitely won't be back.

Food was what 1 would expect. The service was outstanding.I travel around the country for work so I'm always eating alone. Shortly after I was seated a elderly couple maybe in their late 70s early 80s was seated next to me.We struck up a conversation and as we were talking the topic of our children came up. As we continued talking they literally crushed my soul. Just 3 days prior their daughter which was their only child passed away due to Covid.I was speechless and my heart hurt for them ( Ed & Sharon is their names) so we continued talking and eating dinner. We finished dinner and when the waitress brought our bills I asked Ed if I could look at their bill. He looked confused as to why I wanted to look at their bill. So I proceeded to tell them their dinner was on me. Sharon almost immediately teared up, they both thanked me and asked me if they could give me a hug and of course I hugged them both. They told me the only reason they were even able to have dinner there on this night was because they had a gift card.Point of the story is you never know the struggles the person next to you may be going through and being a good person costs nothing. I will forever remember my dinner at Cracker barrel with Ed & Sharon.
