Place so great would definitely recommend. Has about 30 Keno machine's. Food was good and everyone was so nice menu price not bad and also there mixed drinks are like $5 well worth it
Always stop here whenever we go to Sandusky, Ohio (Cedar Pointe). Great food, friendly staff, cool atmosphere and never dissatisfied. Highly recommend! Even though it was packed at 8:45pm on 6/15/2022, we were seated and waited on within 20 minutes. Had enough leftovers for another meal. We love this place!
Was there for lunch wings are really good. Most meals come with fried pickles. A nice touch. Beer selection is great with good service.
I like this place. It is a great atmosphere and it is very spacious. They have an excellent patio and if you are into the horses they have an onsite book which is a bonus for anybody who likes the horses. This place gets very crowded during race days.Food was good but I only ordered a burger. They have plenty of adult beverages to choose from, and a nice selection of craft beers.There is plenty of parking but exiting the thirsty pony can be a little tricky during peak cedar point hours.
It does look like like it's not kid friendly but they had my son's favorite which we haven't come across before! Extremely busy for a Sunday night but they were quick to seat people! I personally got the chicken parmesan sandwich. It was HUGE and very very delicious! My husband got the spinach artichoke dip and it was AMAZING! He also got the perch sandwich which was another HUGE sandwich. Everyone was super nice! Will for sure come back again!!!
I had high hopes for the Thirsty Pony, but unfortunately the food missed the mark for the most part. This rating is solely based on our food experience. Food is in the photos.Here is what my family of 4 had:- cheese stick stack appetizer (good)- southwest egg roll appetizer (good)- sauerkraut balls appetizer (it was like a Reuben ball with sausage in it instead of corned beef. It was just alright)- Buffalo chicken dip (didn’t care for this. Was too sweet and tasted weird)- I had the mango jalapeño wings. (These were delicious but quite spicy. Definitely made me tear up a little)- lobster bisque in a bread bowl (this was my least favorite thing out of the whole meal. It was this fake orange color and just did not taste good.)- my husband and stepsons all had different burgers and none of them cared for themI do like the feel of the bar and I’m sure it is a great place to go to drink, bet on horse races through their simulcast area, and/or play lottery. Unfortunately, due to an upcoming surgery, I was not able to try any of their many signature cocktails.There is also bowling and axe throwing at this location.
So this is a great bar that kinda serves as a restaurant. It's also connected to a bowling alley and other fun stuff to do. it's definitely not fine dining but mid class bar food I'd have to say they do alot of it to order tho. It's a bit cluttered with advertising but I guess that catches your eye to find stuff. I like the everyday specials and they have low prices. I recommend the pretzel and I didn't have it but my brother recommend the wings. He also loved the cinnamon butter lol. The service we got was very good. I would recommend this place. I would also recommend the onion rings!! This bar is very generous when it comes to shots and pours very worth your money.i recommend the sweet potato waffle fry's.
This place is filthy and the food is less than mediocre! The menus were sticky and had old sauce on them. The table we were sat at was dirty as the rest of the tables were. It needed cleaned through out. We ended up with stomach issues for the last 2 days. Before we left I went to the bathroom and it was just as filthy everyone should stay away from there!!?we visited on 03/17/22
We stopped in right after they opened. Never been in before. Service was great and so was the food!
Wow, what a great meal. It was a slow night due to a sudden ice storm, but our server couldn't have been more attentive. The food was fantastic - perfectly cooked burgers with a healthy side of fries. I recommend the sweet potato fries served with some divine cinnamon-sour cream concoction; may be more dessert for some palates, but so what? The bacon guac burger was enormous, sloppy joy.
