As you can see, I almost forgot to take a picture! I saw the plate of Cookies & Cream Pancakes and dug straight in. Topped with chocolate and vanilla cream sauces, then real Ohio maple syrup... yum! Not for those watching calories, but a great treat now and then.Excellent service, fair prices, and quality food. Highly recommended that you stop in and try something new.
Everything was amazing. Their iced coffees are super delicious. I wasn't a big fan on the French toast but everyone else loved it. Service was amazing. We came in with a 9 and she handled our crew very well.
I absolutely loved it here. Friendly workers, the wait time wasn't insanely long (only about 15-20 minutes), great atmosphere, clean, and the food was DELICIOUS. Best waffles I have ever had, they were crunchy yet also fluffy. Also, they basically take any request. I wanted the Blue Streak pancakes, but asked if they can make it into waffles instead and that was perfectly fine. Our waitress also said that any of the coffee can be made hot or cold which I enjoyed because I don't like hot coffee. Also, the bathrooms only have 3 stalls BUT they have great privacy. The stalls have actual walls and doors so there isnt insanely huge gaps so people can peek in or who knows what. Overall I love it here and we had a great breakfast (even though it's noon). If we ever come back to Sandusky, I hope we eat here again!
I'd been wanting to try this place since my last trip to cedar point but the wait was an hour and a half and we had to get back home. I was happy to be able to finally make it there on my more recent trip. The wait was only about twenty minutes, which was surprising since there were many people waiting to be seated. The service was great. The menu is large and has some interesting and creative offerings. I had the cinnamon roll French toast with the cinnamon syrup. It was soft and delicious though, I would have liked it to have had more icing. My friend had the country omelet. It was very flavorful. I expect to go back again in the future to try some more dishes.
The service was good but I wasn't crazy about the pancakes or the cinnamon. The cinnamon roll french toast was a disappointment. The cinnamon is definitely strong and is an acquired taste. The Biscuits weren't the best. Maybe I'm just use to the amazing southern breakfasts...def not what I'm use to being from the south.
Breakfast isn’t always my favorite meal, but it is at Sandusky Pancake House! I live an hour away and it is worth the drive. The wait staff are always friendly and serve you fast, even when the restaurant is packed. I always look forward to their seasonal themed dishes and cocktails, like apple pie mimosas and candy cane pancakes. Everything is delicious there, and it can be hard to choose between everything on the menu! They can get pretty busy, so plan for a wait on weekends, but they can text you when your table is ready and trust me, the wait is worth it!
Have been here multiple times and each time, without fail, the staff is extremely polite, amazing service, bright atmosphere, and the food comes out fast and is phenomenal!!I also love that they’re a local business that supports other local businesses by sourcing their ingredients from them. I love that I can sit down and enjoy a delicious meal and support not just one, but many local businesses at once.Pictures are of the strawberries and cream crepes (with banana added), bananas foster cold brew, chicken biscuit, and American flag waffles. We’ve ordered more things as well that were all wonderful; I honestly can’t pick a favorite. This is a place that is a MUST try!!

Super honest review; My family and I tried the Sandusky Bay Pancake House while on a weekend trip to celebrate my daughter’s birthday at Kalahari. Our waitress Shannon was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was amazing. And the food…. The food was phenomenal. My husband said their cinnamon roll was the best he’s ever had! Big portions for a very reasonable price. We were overall very pleased and swore we would make it “our” spot everytime we visit Sandusky. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!!
Awesome local experience…starting with the coffee, followed by delicious food, followed by the coffee;)
