Alejandro was one of the best waiters we’ve ever had. He was fun, polite, and provided great service. The manager Terry was super nice too, when the restaurant got really busy he supported his staff by helping out with serving food and cleaning tables. One of the best service experiences I’ve ever had!
We went last night and the experience left much to be desired. They were clearly under staffed as our waiter was running around the whole time. It took quite a while to get our drinks. We ordered two appetizer as we had 6 people the friend pickles were okay but could have been fried a bit longer and we never got our loaded fries till after our dinner and even then they onlybrought a side order. So when the dinners arrived we were missing a side salad and one. dinner was 5 wings and it supposed to be all flaps but 3 of the 5 wings were drums. When our waiter finally made it back to us he apologized and we let him know what was needed and asked for drink refills. We got the remade food decently fast but forgot our drink refills till the next pass by the table. I personally order the Buffalo chicken wrap sub cheddar instead of blue cheese and got cheddar and blue cheese on it. As I was about half way through my wrap I bit into a bone in my chicken wrap. Luckily I bit into it and didn't swallow this tiny piece it could have done alot of damage! Overall the kitchen failed this trip. And honestly for how much went wrong the management didn't do anything to make our experience better the only thing that was not on our bill was the loaded fries pretty sure because our waiter forgot to put it in.
We ate here after a fun day visiting Put-in Bay. It was 6:45pm and there was a 30 minute wait. We went to get a drink at the bar and the bartender was clueless!!! She straight out told us she couldn’t make an old fashioned when I ordered one and when I chose something from their drink menu she had to look up the recipe.When we sat everything was fine and she took our orders but it took a very long time for the food!!! Then when we would ask for a side of something or a water she would completely forget.At 7:50 she told us it was last call at the bar so we all ordered 1 more drink. The drinks took 15 minutes for 2 classes of wine and a Jack and ginger!!! Also a restaurant should not close before 9pm! Earliest last call in my life!The food was pretty darn good.
We were from out of town, for a two day trip for my sons birthday. This placed looked cool for my sons birthday, but that’s all they have going for them. Waited 15-20 minutes for the waiter to take our drink order, at which time we put in our entire order. He kept walking by us, still no drinks. Think he forgot. Finally got our drinks. Didn’t see him again for nearly an hour. We decided since we were starving, & it was my sons birthday that we were going to leave. He came back & said they were behind in the kitchen. Honestly, I think he forgot to put in our order. He said he’d send us fries & give my son a sundae for his birthday. We told him we were just going to leave. He said he’d return & let us know how much longer. Food arrived a few minutes later. Food was good, but they used garlic butter for the kids grilled cheese. Son didn’t like it. Waiter never came back to ask us how our food was, or offer refills. Another 30 minutes pass & my husband asked for a refill. He took his cup & never returned. He came back and told us the fries & sundae were coming, another 40 minutes after he said he’d provide that. We told him we just want to go. We won’t be returning when we visit the area, which we will be frequent. No excuses for such poor service. If they are short staffed, they shouldn’t fill the restaurant. It was a Monday night. Hours of our evening wasted, & we had plans that we couldn’t attend to. Sons birthday dinner ruined, & left frustrated.
It would’ve been nice if our server hadn’t forgotten about our appetizers then when we finally got them our meals were about 5 minutes behind them. On top of that our server found it better to hangout at a booth with other customers instead of checking on us. My wife finally just called over to her so we could get refills. Food was really good just not pleased with how we were taken care of.
After a long day of driving to Cedar Point I left to find someplace to take back to eat there and I waited for 40 minutes to get my food. The place was not too busy, it was just forgotten while I twiddled my thumbs. If I would not have inquired about the food I don't know when it would have come. The food itself wasn't bad.
We are staying at castaway Bay hotel. We stopped here for dinner. We saw some friends that we knew enjoying their group. That may have been a mistake. The food took over an hour to come out of the kitchen. When it did my wife's onion rings were unedible. Did you take those off the menu. And the food overall is okay.
My husband and I stopped in for a late lunch after visiting Cedar Point. The photo of the chicken tenders on the menu did not compare to those served. We ordered the 12 pack breaded boneless wings. 3 were mini chicken nuggets! They also charged $2 for sauce on the side vs sauce on the chicken. This was not brought to our attention prior to ordering. Disappointed, probably done with Sandusky location.
This place is awesome... Great food. Loved the chicken wings.. fries are superb and love how its right by the water and the way the restaurant is set up with cars literally upside down on the ceiling.. makes it for a great time with great food. ?
The atmosphere was good had high hopes being a car guy ... Service was a huge disappointment the food was terrible and way over priced. I don't mind paying alot for good food but definitely disappointed with everything ... My daughter said her milkshake was good but how do you mess that up...
