Very nice venue for wedding ?

Very pretty place but awful service. We rented an arch from here and the groomsmen and the grooms father were told they had to put it up and take it down. It was windy that day so it blew over and a screw pulled out, so they got mad at us, even tho it was a super easy fix. It also cost way extra to do pop instead of alcohol. The pop machine ended up having a problem so the brides father asked them to fix it, which they also got mad at. The bride and groom also bought a cake from an outside caterer which they threw away without talking to anyone. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

BRIDES BEWARE! I held my wedding here in February of 2020, and did not have a good experience. When we decided on this venue, we were working with a different event coordinator, who was bubbly, insightful and practically sold us on the place. Before my wedding, though, she left and the current event coordinator, LeeAnn took over. From there on out, the communication was AWFUL. It took days, even weeks on some occasions, for her to return my emails and phone calls. Even when we were only weeks away from the big day, trying to make final payments, schedules, etc., she would never respond. She never once assisted us during set up, and was almost never seen on the day of. She did not set up the correct amount of chairs requested for the ceremony, and my husband had to chase her down to set up more chairs; the request was greeted with a lot of attitude and unwillingness to do her job. This seemed to become a theme, because my mother had to spend 30 minutes to chase her down to lock up our card box as well. Also, the bar "ran out" of almost every type of alcohol, and yet again she was no where to be found to address the issue. When discussing this with her later, she said that should have never happened and her staff should have came and found her, but clearly there was no communication between her and her staff, just like her clients. The only positive that came of this issue was that she DID refund us for the time the bar was low on liquor. Additionally, she did not ensure we had our champagne toast, nor did she shut down the bar when scheduled OR was there to shut down the wedding in general; we had to do that ourselves. She also decided Saturday evening that she would not be there the following day to let us in to tear down the décor, and my mother and I had to call off work on Monday to drive back out (about an hour) to the venue to tear down, (which she was not there for, maintence let us in). It just felt as if no one there cared. It was still a beautiful day because WE made sure it was, but beyond that, there was no positives to the venue other than its looks. BUT the food was good and the chef there is very personable. So, please think twice about booking this venue; it might be beautiful, but the staff doesn't care and it will add more stress than needed.

My husband and I just held both our wedding ceremony and reception here at the Lyman Harbor on 6/27/2020 in the middle of this pandemic. The venue was amazing at making us and our guests feel safe by spreading out the dining tables throughout the entire ballroom, supplying hand sanitizer by the bar, and serving our guests as they walked through the buffet. The space is beautiful being right on Lake Erie. The food was delicious and the chef was very accommodating to all our tastes and preferences. The staff was very friendly and helpful with taking care of serving and cleaning needs. Lea Ann, the owner, was so easy to work with and helped to make our vision come true amidst all the changes to state health regulations. She deserves an award for putting up with all the emails and phone calls received to pull this off. Thank you to the ownership and staff at the Lyman Harbor for making our wedding the most memorable moment in our lives, so far!

Had our wedding here in the Compass Point room and everything was perfect! The rooms are beautiful and there are so many places on site to take photos also and the food and staff are absolutely great as well!

Hours advertised showed they were open so went there for lunch but found out they were only open seasonally.

Nice place for an event. For some reason I thought the view would be better but other than that it was very accommodating. I was there for a chilli cook off and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Food was amazing
