Waitress was a saint, the meatball rigatoni was 100% authentic and brought me back to when my family visited Italy, and the caramel bread pudding was the best dessert in my life. Indescribably good; you have to experience it for yourself.

WOW! AMAZING! BEYOND EXPECTATIONS. Those are just some of the words that come to mind when I think back to our anniversary dinner at J Bistro. We took our four kids and had an absolute blast. Our servers were attentive and really went out of their way to make sure we all had a good time, but especially our kids. Our eight-year-old loved their mashed potatoes so much, that they brought her an extra small bowl of them. Their artisan cheese plate was incredible. Cheese, crackers, jelly, mmm, mmm good. My wife had their filet mignon which just melted in your mouth, while I had the Chicken Cavatappi which was amazing. Chef Brian is truly a master in the kitchen. J Bistro is a must do when in Sandusky.
We need to get more people to downtown Sandusky and this should be one of the places to do that.Vita for lunch, Bake Erie for an afternoon sweet treat and J Bistro for dinner. Great combination. Come on Sanduskians. Support the locals

The service was incredible, everyone was super attentive. The food here was off the charts, unbelievably good! The steak was cooked to perfection, as was the cod and shrimp! This is your best bet if you are in Sandusky and want a superior dinner!

Fine dining in downtown Sandusky. Service is attentive and the drinks are delicious. I was impressed with everything from the appetizers and salad to the entree. Would definitely recommend if looking for a more upscale restaurant for dinner.
Perfect. We have been here a few times over the past decade. We don't eat out often in Sandusky. But this time, as each time in the past, the food was prepared perfectly with quality ingredients. We had the Beet Salad, and the Cowboy Bone in Ribeye. We substituted the Sweet Potato Mash and had Asparagus. Delicious. Perfectly cooked. And the Chocolate Flourless Tort, one of the best I have ever had. Perfect service from Sue too! Thank you.
The shrimp and salmon was exceptional. French onion soup was done just right. The wait staff was attentive and friendly.
