Staying at the Great Wolf lodge and need some food? Don't get it from here.The breakfast is awful: rubbery eggs and sausages that look and taste like cardboard. The dinner is even worse. The kids didn't eat their mac and cheese and they usually love terrible packaged mac and cheese. The "pasta" is microwaved noodles swimming in oil for $22. Boy am I glad I didn't order the overpriced steak.The service is absolutely terrible. I saw servers carrying food out with their thumbs inside the bowl (twice!). Our server took our food order and then left us for over an hour waiting with two anxious toddlers. There were two servers and like four occupied tables, so not busy at all. Poorly trained, badly managed and seemed like they were working additional jobs elsewhere because they certainly weren't in the dining room taking care of their tables. (I don't blame the servers, this is a management problem if I ever saw one).Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
Surprisingly good. Meals are not cheap but everything we had was delicious. We carried out and the meal was ready on time!
Service was slow. Waitress was friendly but the person at the front desk wasn’t really nice. Almost like our presence annoyed her. Out of everything we ordered the chili rubbed wings were the best. EVERYTHING ELSE was bad. The St. Louis style ribs were dry, tough and chewy. The kids mac n cheese was like school cafeteria food. The crispy chicken sandwich was not crispy. We hope it was chicken. All around bad. Save your money and don’t eat here.
My family and I were just there over the weekend and decided to eat there Friday night for the convenience of not having to load up all the kids . We were even planning on having breakfast there the next day. We had 3 separate families at our table and ordered accordingly. The waitress brought our apps out and out of 7 apps only one was actually hot. The rest were cold and not good at all. The calamari was very cold and rubbery. She brought out the rest of the food and totally forgot about my nephews meal. We had to ask her and it seemed like they forgot to even make it. What ever accidents happen but then we started to eat our meals and no one’s food was hot yet again and no flavor at all.3 of us got the prime rib special and not one was hot and it was so gross that two of us actually wasted an entire meal. Our waitress was very friendly but not good at serving us . She never came back and asked us if we needed more drinks. When we were getting up from the table to leave she came over with more waters and asked if we needed anything else . It was ridiculous prices and atrocious service. We tried to give the benefit of the doubt because it was busy but even the kids who are 14 and under said they didn’t want to eat breakfast there anymore, so we went next door. All of us spent well over 120 bucks expected way better .
We ate at this grill twice. During our stay at GWL in Sandusky OH. For dinner I ordered the prime rib special. I like mine rare but this came out unseared and cold. They took it back and remade it for me. This time it was warm and semi medium but still not seared. It was edible but not woth the price. The baked potato and beans were ok. I tried my family's meal as well. My daughters burger was well cooked but not seasoned at all. No real taste. My wife's salad was ok bit neutral. My sons spaghetti and meat all was nothing special.DAY 2 breakfast. greatThe frittata was pretty good but needs a little bit more seasoning. The sausage and bacon were pretty good. Overall breakfast was a pleasure.
This place is a bit tricky. Breakfast was not good. Stiff pancakes, rubbery eggs, salmon bagels less than fresh. Dinner was quite good and delicious! Burgers are excellent! Pasta dishes also excellent! Well made drinks from the bar! So... I give 1 star for breakfast and 5 stars for dinner. Which should equate to 3 stars overall. But, I'm feeling generous because of the excellent bar cocktails!
The breakfast family style was terrible. Everything looked good but was like rubber. Cinnamon rolls were crunchy and dry. Dinner was ok. The macaroni and cheese was good but not worth $22. Servers were nice but understaffed so wait times were bad.
Awful experience food quality poor, service that make you feel unwanted, cocktails were nice, just eat somewhere else and pop in for a drink
Food quality is questionable, service depends on your luck, our waitress made sure we felt she was doing us a big favor to serve us. We felt unwanted and i am not sure why. For the same price you can eat 20 times better just outside of the facility. Cocktails were nice pop in for a drink is a good. Idea.
Food and service was amazing! Had a bad trip and this was probably one of the best parts about it! The food was amazing!
