My husband and I stopped here specifically for breakfast. The service was excellent & our food order was served promptly. Our server who was new (working that for only a month) was very courteous and pleasant. She made sure that our orders were correct & prepared to our satisfaction; also kept my husband's coffee cup filled with fresh, hot coffee. I had sausage gravy and biscuits, 2 medium fried eggs, & bacon. My husband had the loaded potatoes with scrambled eggs. It has been a VERY LONG TIME since we both have been served a meal that was properly cooked the way it was requested--food pricesareVERY REASONABLE. In addition, the restaurant was VERY CLEAN. It was a nice change to pick up salt & pepper shakers that did not feel sticky or greasy. We most definitely will go back to this restaurant again & would not hesitate to travel from Mansfield, OH to Sandusky, OH for a meal. We would highly recommend The Depot Family Restaurant. In fact, we are already planning a other trip for a dinner this time. The ONLY criticism we have is that they close at 3 pm--wish they stayed open later in the day (hint, hint).

Small diner with breakfast all day. Lots of comfort food options with a variety to choose from, typical diner fare. Place is a little worn but staff is friendly and attentive.
