Solid, small town, Italian inspired dining. Went their after spending the day at Cedar Point with my daughter. Went in starving and left satisfied. Staff was very friendly and service was quick. Would go back.
AMAZING pizza! Definitely in the top 5 we have ever had. Gina was an amazing waitress and helped us with recommendations. We had half Loaded Baked Potato and Half Italian Stallion, both so delicious. We loved that we could do two halves, even with the specialty options!
Atmosphere was pleasant and pizza pie was amazing. Crust was super thin but surprisingly held up extremely well. Tried the Italian Stallion and it was FULL of flavor. Ended with a tiramisu for dessert to go, Yum! Thank you Mike for the amazing service and dinning experience!
Picked up the Pear Gorgonzola pizza after work, $13, savory and sweet, love the balsamic vinegar, was skeptical about the pears but it wasn’t overwhelming, great artisan pizza, Brick Oven Bistro feels more like a pizza with wine place than a pizza with beer place like Cameo or Chet and Matt’s

Waited 7 years to come back, ate here NIGHTLY on a week vacation in 2015. teh Pizza was and still is AMAZING. BUT.. got the BAIT and SWITCH on the wings. Website Menu (linked from tripadvisor) and the actual menu IN STORE show wings: 6-7 wings, price is $8.50 What I got was 4 wings, was told, sorry we haven't updated our menu's yet. I said am i still paying 8.50 for just 4 WINGS? answer was YES. NEVER have i paid over $2/wing , ANYWHERE, ever. We got hot parmesan, and there was ZERO heat to it. Baked wings with parmesan sprinkled on them is the best answer. The pizza here is SO good, but the way i was tricked, and treated afterwards. i CAN NOT recommend doing business here anymore.
Many friends gave great reviews of this place so we were excited to try it but were severely disappointed. They messed up half of our order, after calling and telling them they were apologetic and willing to fix it after finding the mistake on their end. We went back to the restaurant (it was a to go order), got the new pizza and they blamed a new employee, which frankly, we didn’t care who made it, just wanted our order. By the time we got home the other half of the order was cold and the replacement pizza was doughy and under done. I really wanted to enjoy this place but unfortunately we had a bad experience.

Go here because the food is absolutely amazing. Don't go here for the decor (it needs a bit of updating...). Literally, this is homemade stuff - jalapeno poppers? Not from a box - they take a jalapeno and stuff it with all kinds of goodness! The wings melt in your mouth. Even the gourmet-style presentation of their food seems out of place in this little old pizza place. The owner is ever-present and always stopping by the tables. Like a lot of places in Sandusky, they struggle a bit for staff, so be patient. Do yourself a favor though and stop here, you will be pleased!
I would give this place 10 stars if I could. we have excellent service and even better food every time we go here. If you are tired of your normal, greasy pepperoni pizza, come here and see what you have been missing out on. The pear gorgonzola pizza is delicious and you need to try it.
