The food was excellent and well priced. The fries and beer battered chicken was outstanding. The house salad was equally Delicious and filling! The people and locals who frequented this place made it feel extremely homely and welcome to anyone who comes in.

Visiting Sandusky from out of town, we stopped in on our way to go sightseeing. Very inexpensive and delicious food. The restaurant itself had a great atmosphere and was very cute. We'll definitely go back in the future!

We arrived after a day at Cedar Point a 1/2 hour before the restaurant closed. We were welcomed and never rushed. The server Brooke was very pleasant and accommodating. Berardi's has a diner atmosphere, but the food is much better than a diner. I had the quiche Lorraine special with the Berardi house salad. The quiche was hot, delicious and most and the crust was crispy. The house salad has strawberries, mandarin oranges, feta, almonds and cranberries. Delicious! My son had the Philly cheesesteak and asked to substitute beer cheese instead of the white cheddar. They had no problem with the substitution and he said is was very good. My husband and other son had the pork chops and the Reuben, which they said was just okay. We were too full for dessert, but they had a case with baked goods that looked really good. Based on the service and food, I would definitely recommend.

Staff was extremely nice and knowledgeable. Good selection of food. Food tasted great. Reasonable kids meal prices.

We’ve had dinner and breakfast here and both were incredible. Breakfast - We had: biscuits and gravy, pancakes and Texas French toast. Eggs were done perfectly. Sausage pattys were divine. Biscuits and gravy was a huge meal with incredible white sausage gravy over fluffy biscuits. Pancakes were huge and fluffy, French toast was 3 huge pieces and very tasty. Dinner - (hint - the fried fettuccini Alfredo sounds strange but it’s one of the top 2 sides I’ve ever had with the other being the fried garlic mashed potatoes at Claussen Grill in OKC) Meatloaf special was excellent with very tasty tomato based gravy. Chicken parm was very crispy with a delicious red sauce and spaghetti and the same sauce. Cajun pasta was tasty with just enough heat. Buttermilk chicken sandwich was very flavorful and very crispy. We split a piece of coconut pie and 2 scoops of salted caramel gelato. Both were great, best salted caramel gelato I’ve had other than one in a now closed place in Grand Cayman. The place isn’t cheap but well worth the price. I’d drive at least 100 miles for another piece of the fried Alfredo and almost as far for everything else. Highly recommended,

Friendly staff, food came out hot and fast. Many options. Most items seemed a bit under seasoned, but a bit of salt helped with that.

Service was wonderful. You can tell this is a family owned restaurant. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. If only the food was as good as the service. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The waffles were good. But everything else was just "ok". They did have quite a variety in their dessert case. We purchased a few items to take home. The desserts were much better than our breakfast. Not too sure I'd return for breakfast but I would to pick up desserts.

This place is absolutely amazing. Our server Kayla V. was an absolutely perfect server. She helped us figure out what to order. All the staff is super polite and cheery. The food is fabulous. Sauerkraut kraut balls were great for starters. Crispy crunchy coating and a horseradish dipping sauce. Then we had the smokehouse fries covered in BBQ sauce ranch and pulled pork jalapeños( and a dusting of BBQ seasoning? ). They are famous for their fries. Very nice thick fresh cut fry. The Reuben's corned beef is made in house (with tangy Sauerkraut) amazing Thousand island, grilled to perfection. Also the fried fettuccine, YES FRIED FETTUCCINE! Was great crunchy edges and a creamy inside. Finished dinner with cherry pie with a crumb top, and made it ala mode.(tofts vanilla)... This place is a must try. Top of my list when I come to Sanduky.

The friendly service and the great food was top notch. The waitress suggested the Philly Steak sandwich and it the best Philly Steak sandwich that both my wife and I ever ate. We had the Cedar Point fries with it. Would of liked to try the amazing looking pies but we were to full.

Friendly restaurant. Very clean. The food was amazing . definitely a must try . onion ring tower a winner , winner!!!
