Something different. Food is decent for a first timer. Service is great, atmosphere is great. Food, so-so. Really depends what you get. Alcoholic drinks, not good. I have tried a few variations of the margaritas they offer. None of them were tasty and warranting another round.

Food and drinks were excellent, staff was very polite and accommodating. Also caught some great live entertainment in the bar upstairs.

Lobster Roll tacos were awesome, street corn is great, Barra potatoes rule !Keith, our server was on point ! Highly recommended!

The customer service was great and personable. We had our 1.5 year old daughter and they loved her. The firecracker shrimp tacos were the best. The server gave me a pitcher of ice tea so I could fill up whenever I wanted. And gave us a pitcher of water. They were very attentive and we felt very comfortable. All of the food had attention to detail. The only issue we had with the place was when the server forgot the beef in the rice bowl but the server quickly and seamlessly corrected it.

Yes a little on the pricey side but well worth it. God that street corn was awesome. The chorizo and buffalo tacos are the juiciest little tacos I've ever had. Me and the guys hit the place up after I saw it walking around town and thought we'd give it a go. Best decision of the weekend.

It will probably be a while till we go back. It was very average the last couple of times and thus time they changed the ribeye taco to a steak-um taco that isn't even close to a ribeye. Wait time after ordering was around 40 minutes.

They just open this location this past weekend on the Huron River. I really think they should close down, figure things out, and try again later in the summer when they have their act together. There are serious training issue going on with both the kitchen and wait staff. We were one of 2 total tables at 12 Noon and it took 50 minutes to get our food and when it came out most of our dishes were cold. It didn't seem like there was a shortage of staff. Whomever was in the kitchen this past weekend needs some instruction on grilling a burger, running a fryer, and even basic recipes. Honestly they have no business being in kitchen - you're going to get people sick. Ordered Queso dip: sent it back - it was basically Velveeta water down with milk. Not a single person at the table would eat it. Next time just say you don't have the right cheese to make it. Burger: it was raw. Not medium rare- just plain raw. It was obviously a frozen burger. Even so, not hard to cook a burger Tacos; Grilled Shrimp tacos were cold and just unattractive. Perch taco, OK but nothing to write home about - just kind of lame how they were dressed. $6.50 for a taco with no sides is not cheap so you need to make it special or larger - something. Really over-priced for what you're serving Chicken basket: some pieces cooked, others partially cooked; fries were ice cold. Prices steep for want we got. $6.50 for a lame taco, no sides. If you're going to charge this, it better be awesome. It was less than good even. Atmosphere was lame. You just took over the old Viking's Den space, didn't add a touch of decor, music, nothing. Honestly felt ripped off a bit and felt like i wasted my day waiting for food. You need to close down, and regroup on running a location here because word is going to get around quickly on how bad the food and services is. There are other places in town and you're kind of blowing it opening unprepared. FYI: the last negative business review i wrote was probably 15 yrs ago. It was that bad. I really do hope you figure it out and are successful with this location. It would be great to have another option in Huron.

Originally we were going to a different restaurant just up the street that happened to be closed on Wednesday night. We ran into a local couple that was walking to dinner and they said they were gong to Barra Tacos for dinner. We followed them had dinner there. I had Spicy Shrimp Tacos, my coworkers had the steak salad and another with the bowl. All us were very impressed with the quality of the food and the service, all for a very reasonable price. We have already decided on our next upcoming visit to Sandusky dinner will be at Barra Tacos !

If you are looking for a twist on tacos, this is the place to go. Think urban, hip food place that you would see on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Cool brick walls with super high ceilings in an old downtown building. And while the ambiance is cool, their tacos are incredible! Their BLP taco is my fave by far, but they have many others like chorizo, traditional, and more. Their bowls are filling too and the salsa trio they have is really good to start your meal.

Excuse me, serving glasses of water before the server arrives?! Don’t stop doing this!Service was good, food was good, however as a Southern person the cornbread was too soggy for my liking. The flavor of the cornbread and honey butter great, but it was too soggy. The shrimp tacos were perfect, the street corn was the best I've had!
