my dad and i got the shrimp and bourbon chicken two for $29 deal. my two daughters enjoyed the macaroni and cheese yogurt and strawberries with lemonade. food was great. hostess who seated was super sweet. our waitress this time unfortunately didn't have much time for us. that didn't dampen our experience as we had a great time, at the Sandusky location
I've never had a problem there till recently. Our server was lazy and the food made us sick. My chicken on the salad I ordered came out hard as a rock and she didn't even replace my whole salad, she had me pick the chicken off and still charged me for everything. My boyfriends burger was cold and his onion rings and fries were over fried by a lot. We ordered a to go order and told her in the beginning so it would be ready for when we left. It wasn't ready, she only remembered when we told her and that was an extra 30 minute wait and they weren't even busy.
Hostess was beyond bland....Barely did the bare minimum to do her job. Waitress did even less! If mgmt reads this, hostess was young slightly heavy young brunette. Waitress was middle aged black woman. Visit was 8/6 @ 11:30am. Worst staff i have ever encountered at a Chain restaurant in my life! Would have named staff if they had ever stopped to see their name tags.
Love this place. It has great food and fast friendly servers. Our cups were never empty and we never asked for a refill. Great job...
Always a nice experience. Everyone is on top of their game. Fast seating, service, and food times. This is a well managed Applebee's compared to some of the others.
I was very disappointed with the lack of service that I received. It took 20 minutes for our waitress to show up and take our order. We were never checked back on after our food was delivered. I sat with an empty glass while I ate. Then took 15 minutes after we finished eating to finally get our check. And they weren't even busy. Several staff was just standing around. Very disappointing.
I ordered for two people, so I can only comment on my meal. I ordered the beefy nachos. The nachos were old and cold. The meat was not fresh. The jalapeno queso was cold. The food was ready when I asked for it. There's a sign on their door asking you to use the front door, but this door is open until 9pm. You go around the front and ask about the side door, and the door should be used for to go orders. How are first-timers supposed to know that?!
Went early on Super Bowl Sunday, restaurant was pretty empty. Our server, Karen, was very nice and accommodated our children very well. Everyone was friendly, food came out fast and correct.
Our waitress Tobi was delightful and the food delicious. Had a chuckle playing the couple quiz until our food came to table.
For one person to be running the entire front of house and the bar I was impressed. Obviously one can only expect so much. The 4 stars is due to a med rare steak coming out well done, and the bourbon chicken had been sitting way too long, but this was quickly corrected and the fresh replacement meals were on point.
