We normally go to the Westerville location but came here as Westerville is closed on Sundays. We ordered takeout. They said food would be ready in 15 minutes, but when we got there we had to wait an additional 20 minutes due to a problem making the cannoli. They kept saying the cannoli would be ready in another minute. If we knew it would take longer, we would have skipped the cannoli this time. So, the rest of our food got cold. Also, we ordered the vegetable of the day, which they left out of the order. Also, we ordered meat sauce, but they gave us marinara sauce.
My sister decided she wanted pasta for dinner the night before her wedding to take to the Airbnb. I suggested Monte Carlo (never trying it myself), and it was AMAZING! First of all, the staff when we got there were so nice and so appreciative!!! The food was very reasonably priced for what we received and we CRUSHED it! The lasagna was the best lasagna I’ve had in YEARS! I can’t wait to go back!

Was hoping for a nice Friday night meal with the kids. Nope! Ordered the shrimp scampi and not only did it look totally different than the picture but it was not good at all! Extremely bland. No sauce. No flavor. It was just noodles with a little butter (I think?) and shrimp that had some flakes of parsley on it. Completely unappetizing. Kinda made my stomach turn. Salad also was plain with literally two black olives and two cherry tomatoes. (Gave me the wrong dressing too!)Only gave 2 stars because my kids ate all their pasta with meatball and that means more to me than myself eating.First time eating Monte Carlo and the last.
Note that it only open for dinner, and no happy hour. Location is a bit off from the Powell downtown but still convenient with lots of parking at the back. Foods were great, big portion, and quite affordable, servers were a bit inexperienced but still helpful.
Best red sauce in Columbus. This is a great place yet undiscovered by many. Service can be iffy but that is due to the pandemic labor shortage. These people do it right. I wish I could spend more time here, I definitely would.
The food was great. Ivy was our waitress. She did an awesome job under the circumstances….she was the only waitress and there was no one to bus the tables. Kudos to Ivy!

Visited the first time today and it was fantastic despite the shortage of staff. They kept up great service with a smile and served great food. That goes a long way when you are struggling behind the scenes. Get out and support these great places before they're gone. BEST RED SAUCE IN TOWN!!! ?❤
