Local Roots did a fantastic job for my daughter’s recent bridal shower! All of the food was wonderful, including the mimosa bar which was a lot of fun, and we were able to use their rustic centerpieces and decor. Emma (event coordinator) was great and easy to work with, as was Danielle who was onsite during the shower and attended to our every need. We received many compliments from the guests who attended. I would highly recommend them for a private event!

Hosted a private event today in the banquet room and Emma was exceptional. Very attentive service, reasonable prices, and very clean party room. Would give more than 5 stars if possible. Thank you for everything, Emma!

Highly recommend. We were in Columbus for the weekend and someone told us to try this place. Food was awesome and the music outside was great. The staff was also very nice. We had the honey chipotle hummus, veggie pizza, house salad, and took carrot cake to go. We will definitely be back.

Food was awful, service was poor. The wife ordered a BLT, it was a mayonnaise laden mess and I ordered the California Chicken, again excessive mayo with no distinctive taste. We sat at the bar were the typical drink bots, kept asking us to make a drink orders but failed to check on our food which was a bit late and which resulted in Luke warm fries. When our plates sat full when we asked for the check, they said nothing and when I said food was not good, they literally ran away. Never seen that before.

We've eaten here many times. Time to find a new local place? The day was rainy. Web and sign on the door said they open for lunch at 11. They finally opened at about 11:20. Restaurant has a large lobby separate from dining area, so manager could have let people in out of the rain. He/she didn't. Used the men's room right after we sat down. Smelled like a bus station. Towel dispenser was empty and the door to it was open. How can it be smelly and empty 10 minutes after you open? One of the drink glasses wasn't clean. Salad for my partner was good. Sandwich I had was dry; thick bread had no moisture. Like cardboard. Yesterday's bread? I'll admit this was the first iffy experience we've had here, but it was troubling and easily avoided.

Astounding food, our server was an amazing gentleman named Jerami, for his speed to his open friendliness was amazing to me, it was the best service I've ever had. Food wise, I personally tried the walleye and the margherita pizza and both entrees were absolutely impeccable, the lamb lollipops equally so. With every dessert made in house and everything from the wines to the food being locally sourced, this restaurant is nothing but amazing to enjoy

My adult children really like this place and would likely give it 5 stars. For my husband and I, it is a 3 star restaurant. So I compromised with 4 stars. We find it to have slow service with so-so food and would not eat here except that they like it. The style of food here simply does not appeal to us. We both had turkey and both thought it tasted odd. I'm not sure how to describe it, it was smokey, but weird smokey and just was not like normal turkey. Good thing it came with a very tasty spicy aioli sauce to mask the flavor. He had chicken as well which was way overcooked and dry. He ordered no avocado on his salad. Our sever repeated the order back, but somewhere between her and the kitchen, the message was not delivered as the salad came filled with avocado. There were plenty of people eating there, so we are clearly not the majority opinion. They do have wonderful toy box for the little ones; full of fun things to entertain them while they wait.

Awesome place….great vibe

Stopped in for the first time during lunch today and surprised at how big this place was. I was expecting a much smaller restaurant. I ordered pretzel balls as a starter and really enjoyed them. They were smothered in melted butter and came with bacon & scallion cheese dip which was delightful. For my main I ordered a Cuban sandwich and was very pleased with the size of it though regardless of that, $16 is still quite pricey for what it is. The flavors were all on point though and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The staff is so friendly & food is delicious! You’ve got to try the chipotle-honey hummus!!! It’s amazing!!!
