Horrible!!! We as a family have been going here for almost 30 years and now my children and grandkids are going here as well. Today, 06/29/22, my wife and I took our grandson here for an early dinner to beat the rush. What we got was a blowoff by this ‘restaurant’. We were the third group to sit down and we waited 30 minutes for our food. It was cold when it finally came. I told the waiter who said he would tell the manager. Another 15 minutes went by with nobody helping us. As we left hungry, I told the waiter and manager that I was not paying for anything. The manager gave me excuses and an apology but that was it. So, that was it for me too. We are very disappointed with the non-service we received. Don’t go here unless you like your hot food cold and your service lousy.Nosmo
I visited this location Order 4 tacos not even rush hour and 30 min later my food wasn't ready the clerk at the register said they were busy when they were not it was a Tuesday at 12:20 pm I had to walk out hungry the cashier didn't even bother on checking if my food was ready horrible experience had to go back to work hungry and late and waisted my lunch time for nothing. Wish I could give them 0 stars.
$30 for 2 burritos. Had to look for the meat. No consistency when I order the queso fundido with shrimp. One time it’s runny without the ingredients listed and the next time it has been made properly. For the price, get it right…Unreliable. $1.50 convenience charge for take out. Makes no sense..if you eat in it is the same price but dishes need to be washed and table cleared. Not a fan…I can do without.
The server had an attitude as soon as we sat down. We couldn't tell if he was kidding or not, it became apparent he was not kidding. He cut us off after two beers. We have never been cut off. If we asked for anything he would roll his eyes and leave in a hurry then come back. We all understood that they were busy we weren't being demanding.
Please be aware of the bill. I caught them on spot. My bill was $58 and they charged me $73 . When I questioned her (the person is so rude). In spite of accepting her mistake she was so rude and just throw the card at me after correcting it. Please avoid this restaurant at any cost. Horrible . Horrible customer service. They treat customers very bad. Please avoid visiting this place.
The service is consistently good here and they do not seem to get overwhelmed very easily with large crowds or big surges. The food is consistent as well. Also of note it my kids' favorite place to eat.Sometimes they do make mistakes on the carry out orders but not often enough for me to deduct a star...but often enough for me to mention it. When they do make a mistake they are very quick to apologize and correct it though which is always nice.
The service was a bit slow, but we did go on the Thanksgiving weekend. Took about 2 hours 15 minutes from being seated to paying the check, but overall, the food was okay, and the salsa not very spicy. My order, the steak fajitas were just okay too.
Food was good, not great. Service is always hit or miss at the Powell location. Bill was wrong twice, but after waiting 15 minutes we just paid and went on our way. Won't be back anytime soon.
Me and my family went to the Powell location last night after going to the zoo lights this place had the worst service I ever experienced first the waiter conversated with a couple thar was leaving for 15 minutes before actually taking our drink order after we did order got all of our orders wrong it was 7 of us never brought my niece's order and when they did look like something they just threw together real quick and it full of grease never refilled our drinks I can go on of the horrible service at this location since it was an hour before closing when we got there I believe they were trying to rush us out of there we been to other locations but this one here in Powell is far the worst I wouldn't recommend this location to my worst enemy I hope the waiter enjoyed his tip which was nothing
Save yourself the money and hit up a different location. Food is too expensive and service is slow. The steak El cuatrero, the most expensive item in the menu at $25, was full of fat and gristle. Margaritas were good as usual however.
