It was good food. Average American/Mexican cuisine buried in queso but enjoyable. It wasn't the quality of the food they serve or anything bad about the experience that made me give it 3 stars. It's fine and the food was good. It's just like every other Americanized Mexican food place you would visit. Nothing made it rise above the crowd for me.

Waitress was MIA white we waited over an hour for 3 tacos and a chimichungas. They were busy indeed, but it was a small order. Won't be going back.

Ordered carry out lunch there today and there was no one there initially for me to tell them I had an order ready to be picked up, no sweat though because I wasn't in a rush. Fast forward..the food was just ok very bland and for the price. Nah. Wont be back.

Great service. Excellent food. Not the same old same old at other Mexican restaurants.

My friends and I went to grab dinner at Azteca because we live in Powell and this is a family owned business. They refused to serve my friend who is over 21 a drink and validated she was with her drivers license. The servers were also very rude to us and threw our salsa on the table. I don’t plan on going back there ever again.

I love this place. Food is consistently good and depending on the time you go, the service is either horrible or terrific. I tend to have early dinners, usually about 4 pm, and the service is not good. Doesn't bother me because I'm never in a hurry. If I eat later, around 6 or so, the service is great. Always worth going, however.

Great food...prompt service...will return.

Margs and queso... say less lol so good

My husband and I decided to go here last minute on Saturday eve and there were only about 5-6 other tables there. The service was okay, but no one was wearing mask which seemed weird. We got the Texas fajitas and they were so bland that they were hard to eat. We also substituted one veggie (no tomatoes) and I asked for beans instead of rice and they missed both of those. I ordered one drink and my husband ordered one beer, neither of which had prices, both of which were way overpriced. ($11 for a Paloma) that I couldn’t even taste the tequila in. We will definitely NOT be back.

I came here with a coupon to try it for the first time. Our server appeared to be the owner because his picture is in the wall. I asked if they’d take the coupon before the meal and he said yes, and then after he told me the total and I gave him the coupon but the total was the same when he brought back the receipt. He did not check on us once during the meal and the buffet is not consistent in quality with the price tag it comes with. TL;DR poor service, didn’t take off coupon, buffet bad deal.
