Despite being busy during weekends they are welcoming. Staff is so nice and friendly. These kind of gestures make us keep coming. Good food and good seating outdoors. Sunday dine in was just perfect. Nice place to come with family. Their menu have some good authentic Mexican food. Shrimp tacos the best. Seafood quesadillas were awesome. The quantity is just perfect. Quality is of course good. Fries on the side is seasoned and crisp unlike other places who give saggy fries on the side. Jalapeño poppers were the best appetizer. 4 starts for good food and plus 1 is for good hospitality
Had a wonderful time at Zapatas for Cinco DE Mayo, the wait was 40 mins was expected the staff was excellent and the food was outstanding!The vibe was great, the music was wonderful!Kudos to the staff for being well organized!
I really like the wait staff at this restaurant. I went on a Tuesday night around 6:30 and I ordered chicken fajitas. I was disappointed that they did not come out sizzling and the chicken kind of looked older but it still tasted okay. The in-house guacamole is really good. The queso is watery :-\. Again the wait staff is really kind. This is definitely a family-friendly restaurant and there are a lot of children there. Seating is plus size friendly their tables and booths. Not much of a wait for service either even when they're busy. They just need to work on improving their food. It's kind of lack luster.
Based on tonight's dinner alone, solid 5 stars. Gloria was great behind the bar. A lot of hustle and knowledge of drinks and the menu in this girl. The Monterey was piping hot and delicious. The order of steak tacos to hit the table were fresh and authentic... Reminded us of Cabo San Lucas. The Zapatas draft beer is a must try and the michelada was zesty and refreshing! If you like margaritas, bloody marys and a cold beer, you have to try one! Fast service, thoughtful service (in this day and age when no one wants to earn anything) and a speedy kitchen made for 2 great steak & chicken dishes. We will be back!

Service was poor. I had to wait forever to get a new drink after a fly fell in mine (and didn't get one after asking twice). The waitress had an attitude all the time. The food was okay. There are definitely better Mexican places in Pickerington /Reynoldsburg area for the same price.I will not come back
Omg, this is the best Mexican food I've ever had east of the Mississippi River. My only regret is not coming here sooner

First time ever ordering food from here and I now have a new burrito obsession! The Burrito Deluxe dinner was delicious! I ordered it with the cheese dip as sauce and a Guac Salad as the side. I will be ordering again, and again, and again!!
