Mr. Freeze is great. The menu is pictures up on the glass where you order - others have posted photos of that here, so take a look. Otherwise you can ask the friendly staff to steer you in the right direction. I went up and said I like peanut butter and chocolate and hate fruit flavors in my desserts. Thus I was introduced to the Buckeye Sundae. If you get a junior it’s enough ice cream for an adult, but a small sundae has the distinct advantage of topping at the top and bottom of your sundae. It’s amazing, and even though it’s a lot of ice cream, the quality of toppings at the bottom can’t be beat. The biggest issue I run into with new comers is ok, it’s cash, but how much cash do I need? Well, search no further - here is a picture of the prices in advance so you can have an idea of how much you’re gonna need. Don’t forget the tip!

The best turtle sundae ever. I don't have one very often but when I do, it is delicious. Hot fudge, caramel sauce and toasted pecans. Yummy ?

The ice cream taste great and portion are big. People are friendly. The only thing I didn't like is there isn't an actual menu. Pictures/photos of items you can get on a 8x10 papers posted on the windows. But you can't all the posting when they are busy.

Prices are great for the huge portions served - always great value for the money. The menu is large and varied, with a little something for everyone. Service can be atrociously slow when they are busy, but that just goes along with their popularity. After 10+ years of coming here, my last couple of visits were very disappointing, unfortunately.First, the ice cream itself isn't as creamy and rich as it used to be (nearby O-Deer Diner has exceptionally creamy soft serve).Second, some of their sundaes have changed to lower-quality ingredients. For example, the Nutter Butter Sundae used to have Nutter Butter-like cookie pieces - now it's just a generic peanut butter "dust" that's sprinkled on top.All in all, I still recommend Mr Freeze for soft serve. Come when there's no line, try a few different menu items, and find a favorite.

Very creative and tasty ice cream treats at a reasonable price.

My wife grew up here and does nothing but talk about this place when we come to visit her family. I'm not much of an ice cream person but the banana pie shake thing is refreshing and freaking delicious. Keep up the awesome work y'all!

Story time:I normally don’t eat ice cream. I decided to drop by this place with my daughter since she did so well at school today. The issue was that I forgot to bring cash to pay for the ice cream for my toddler and me. Big oof on me. I asked them to put it aside side and I’ll go cash out money from the ATM across the street. As a result, they gave me all three ice cream for free. I was extremely grateful, my daughter is happy, and so is the doggo. I will definitely return the favor. Shout out to the person who gave us free ice cream. Thank you!

Gosh. Sorry I have no photos. As we eat up this yumminess pretty quickly! The ice cream here is fantastic, I’m not sure why the base vanilla ice cream tastes different, but it does. People wait in the rain/snow/apocalypse for a long time in long lines to eat this. The staff is efficient and friendly.

The sun is setting, the wind is kicking up, and here we are in our layers, outside, standing in line for ice cream! Looking forward to my buckeye sundae...Only bummer is the change to traffic flow, no convenient left turn into Mr Freeze parking lot anymore.

Full disclosure, I haven’t been in probably 30 years or more, but man did I LOVE this place. I was born and raised in NC,but my grandparents lived on Westbrook Dr. I have the best memories of visiting them every Fourth of July and making the walk down to Mr. Freeze with our entire family. Those are the best memories and that was the best ice cream. I hope to visit again someday! Thanks for the memories!
