One meal hot, one was cold. Slight language barrier. Multiple requests for the same items silverware, salt, plates etc.. Had to get the enchiladas warmed up then the waiter forgot to bring them back and brought the check instead. Kind of a frustrating experienceâ¦

The water with a hint of beans was ridiculous. How do you screw up refried beans? The tacos with the dry corn tortillas from the bag was unacceptable to serve my Mother on her birthday. Slim portions on all five meals ordered. Freaking generic mexican happy meal portions. Just advertise as a Bar because that was the only thing other than the good customer service and bar tender that can be applauded. Shame on this establishment for representing our culture so poorly.
Springs in the booth seat cushion weak or broken causing me to sit 6â lower than I should making the table top chest high. Also, ordered a bottle of Negra Medello from the menu and was told it was available in draft which surprised me since the Negra wasnât listed as such. I said sure but was brought just the Medello not the Much darker Negra.
Service slow, ignored after our drinks were delivered, never got the appetizer we ordered. Food was hot, but bland and presentation was sloppy. We will not be returning

Food had NO Flavor. It looked like it came out of the microwave. I hadn't had a drink in 2 months and was worried about having a Margarita. I ordered a jumbo and it had NO effect on me. No alcohol! Looked at my wife across the table and she said her food had no flavor either and no alcohol in her drink!! Big contrast from the El Vaquero on Secor. Food is fantastic there and one Jumbo is is enough!! Pretty disappointed to say the least.
Food is amazing. The kitchen rocks! Drinks are fantastic! If you want fast, efficient service, make sure you ask for Apryl. She is amazing. Always makes sure your drinks are full and makes the whole dining experience amazing. Our whole family loves Apryl, and El Vaquero!
My wife and I stopped for dinner on a snowy weekday evening. The place was hoppin! The food was great and the service extremely fast!
