Food was excellent as always. The service was a little slow tonight and they were not busy. We ordered and I used the restroom (I'm disabled, so it takes a minute) and my friend was still waiting on the food when I got back. We ordered a burnt ends sandwich and a pit dip sandwich. I'll overlook slow service when the food is good. I eat here about every other month or so and tonight was just slow in comparison to past visits.
Ribs were dry and old, literally almost like jerky, didn't get any sauces at all and I paid for extra as well. Daughter got the chicken and it was dry and flavorless and without sauces....it was impossible to enjoy. Loaded potato casserole was flavorless, green beans were super spicy (which my son loves but should be listed as the rest of us don't), hubby got the brisket Mac stack and the Mac was dry and clotted with maybe 1/4 a cup of meat...the clotting, even after warming up again and adding a little moisture, still rendered or inedible. Was super excited to try this place but it's a thumbs down on pretty much everything we ordered?
Rob the Manager is always friendly and is so great with the employees working there. His constant encouragement to the young employees is refreshing. I always hear him teaching and explaining how and why they do things. Great food as well! I asked Rob if he is the owner he replied no. He treats the restaurant as his own! So impressive
Today was my first time in dickeys bbq. There was no customer service, what so ever. I stood in line for a good 5 minutes before even being asked what my order was. The fries i ordered were not cooked in the fryer for more than 20 seconds, they are soggy. The Mac n cheese was cold, not the slightest bit warm. And the restaurant itself wasn’t clean. I will not be back.
I had an absolutey awful experience today. My order of fries was not completely cooked, both my Buffalo chicken Mac stack & bbq brisket Mac stack was COLD. There was very little chicken on my Mac stack. The corn bread had hard corn inside of it and the guys working didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing at all! Don’t waste your money here, Deets is way better!
I ordered hot wings, but they didn’t have the ingredients needed for my order or so “I was told.” So I told the guy that notified me to cancel the order, but I was charged anyways. So I called them back the next day to have them refund my money back and I was told the owner would have to approve that which is understandable. I got no refund and was put on hold for around 25 minutes. So I showed up like an average “Karen” would lol ? I wasn’t though, but I was hot over the hold on the phone for about 25 minutes. So I arrive there and was greeted with an awesome staff. I spoke to a very professional lady Shannon which I spoked to over the phone, but she forgot that I was on the phone?. But, aside from that, the staff was friendly and professional. The owner should consider making Shanon a manager for her professionalism and prompt with solving the problem.. Note: I will try to do business again…Thank you!
Food was good but portions were small for a $17 plate, food was cold because they cut the meat, sat it on the plate, then started cooking the fries. Cook was barehanding the fries from freezer to fryer. Just go to city BBQ

Every time I’ve been here it has been (1) clean, (2) friendly, (3) delicious, and (4) speedy.I really don’t understand why it’s not more busy!I even hesitate to leave a good review because I like that there’s not a long line when I go! I kinda don’t want to let the secret out….It’s good fast casual dining with large portions and a soft serve machine by the BBQ sauce - what’s not to like?
33 dollars worth of food taste like grocery store no napkins silverware or anything ordered dominos so we could actually eat dinner
