Our Burgers were Hot, Fresh and Tasty! Shoe String Fries were a wonderful surprise. And the Shakes, OH MY Goodness!!! The variety of flavors, Soo many, I want to try them all! We did get the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup ??? it was Soo GOOD!I wish I could of given it 5 stars, just one employee messed it up for me - but WAIT!! The Manager, he did quickly step up and Saved the situation with a quick eye and Corrected the error. (which I couldn't believe happened in the first place) For him - 5 ?s!So, do I recommend Steak and Shake? Yes I do! Will I be going back, most definitely.N'Joy!!
We don't have a Steak-n- shake near us, so we have drive a bit, but it's worth it if you like smash burgers and milkshakes. I don't mind the new ordering format (kiosk and you pick it up when your number is called).The garlic burger is my favorite and it's always delicious. Always recommend.
It was getting pretty late( about 10:00pm) and we were hungry. They were open pretty late too. The food was nice, the shakes too. Thier shake maschine wasn't broken! Bonus! The staff remained kind even though it was late night. Thier was no squabbeling, attitudes, or arguing.Thanks guys it's nice to know you can still get fed after a late shift.
Omg has this establishment gone downhill, I decided to go with my grandkids since they love milkshakes. My grandson loves to eat so he ordered a triple and I ordered a double when I tell you all I tasted was bread and mustard that was a understatement the meat was so small it finished before the bread and my grandson ate his triple in two bites that tell you how small it was. I will never eat here again I rather go to 5 guys they need to step up there game because there is to many burger joints to waste money on this garbage. Steak and shake will never get my money again
Food quality is just as good. It's even more fun now that you can order on the tablets. Very streamlined. All the staff is helpful as well.

Steak n Shake always kills it! I got the garlic steak burger and they always have the best fries as well! We'd just seen Steve-o live and needed something to eat before driving 3 hours home, definitely was a good decision!
Food was great aside from the grilled cheese ironically, I remember it being awesome back when they had the 2 for 4. Major price increase on the chicken like many other restaurants have had since the pandemic BUT the new Dine In process is great! Completely self serve so you're no longer obligated to Tip which makes up for the price hike, and the new touch screen order system shows you all of the customizations you may not have thought of. The star lost is for cleanliness of the dining area as staff is so busy on the other side making the food there's really not time to do anything else which is expected these days.
Everytime I come here they are always treating ppl with respect and they are so sweet, milkshakes are bomb very delicious ? and food always fresh and taste amazing. They are not expensive. This is how every fast food place should be.
The food is good. Workers nice. But no one wants to feel ripped off. So when I order two large chills for my sick daughter you can only imagine how mad I was to open the bag and find two kind of small containers, more a cup of chili rather then a bowl... Overpriced as usual. That isn't even the worst when I opened to check it.. Cup is barley half full!!! Are you kidding me?!? 8 dollars for two small half full cups?! Insulting.
