I usually come in after work on a Friday to play a game of pool and have a few drinks with some friends. I normally don't post reviews but I felt in this case it was necessary. It seems to be the same one bartender Alyssa running around serving the bar. This bar normally has anywhere from 3 to 4 bartenders working on a Friday, but trying to get a drink from anyone else is almost impossible. I've ordered something from Amazon and had it delivered faster than the drink I order from this other bartender. I'm either told to hold on while they slowly walk past you or they try to avoid making eye contact with you and disappear.No one else has the same energy to serve the customer as this girl and I feel bad because everyone in the bar knows who to get your next drink from. Outside of depending on one person to get your drinks or food order this is a great little hangout spot. Pretty good food, pool tables, dart boards, pull tabs and a large outdoor patio with music.I'm giving Rookies three stars at this time with the hope that management recognizes how these other bartenders are viewed by their paying customers. I can tell this place will be busy when the weather is nice. If this is the same staff that I'm ordering my drinks from when they're slammed then I'll look for a new spot to spend my money at and I believe others will as well. - Good luck Rookies, Hopefully you figure it out.
Just finished lunch there, second time I've been. They have amazing food, but the drink prices and pool aren't bad. They have other stuff, but I'm good with these three*Sorry to the owner, yes, it was a typo that I fixed. Thank you!
I felt so uncomfortable from the moment I walked in. Wasn't greeted. Wasn't offered a menu or even acknowledged by a bartender. Didn't even stay longer than 5 min.

Someone steals cue ball off my table and worker says she can’t help me locate ball that I’m responsible. And I have to pay if I can’t find it. I give up my Driver license to get the ball and pay for games why would I steal a cue ball smh anyway someone takes the ball off my table and no one seen anything? After asking the whole bar, a guy finally after a half hour maybe longer says he apologizes for his “friend” for taking it. Smh garbage place. ??
Horrible service. I sat in there at the bar for 5-10 mins, looking over a menu and no one asked me what I wanted or if I wanted a drink.
We just had a fundraiser for my wife who has cancer. The staff was tremendous, everyone had a great time. Two ????up......

In Cleveland for 8 weeks for a child's medical care... Found this looking for a Billiard Hall after a long day at rehab... Great Brick Building & Architecture is Very Cool inside. The Space, Design and Layout (Separate rooms for Restaurant, Bar, Billiards, and Dart League areas) is really well planned. The Patio looks like THE PLACE TO BE during warmer weather!! Wish we had an All-In-One place like this back home!Delicious Food, Super Friendly Staff and Pool League players. We've been back 3x and now consider Rookies "Our Spot in Cleveland". ?Six pool tables, 4 Diamonds and 2 Valleys. Great place to let our hair down after, grab a tasty bite and relax after a long day! ?
