Went here to Denny's 4 my family that was in town there was five adults and like 4 kids and a baby just wanted to get something to eat one of the staff members a waitress was really rude and said a smart comment " we only have one cook",that's exactly what she said and it's too many of y'all I'm like well it don't matter we have to wait for the food she was like well we only have one cook you want application real smart I would never go there again I haven't been there since that incident and the point of the matter was it was only like 6 people sitting down eating. Really sad guest service.
We were seated by Marilyn, the front of the seating area had quite a few people there but there were tables still available. I asked if possibly we could sit in the back area Marilyn told me that the tables were not cleaned I was looking at the tables and all of them were cleaned I said what about this table and she seemed not happy that I requested to sit at the table. There were two booths that were occupied with other guests. We placed our order another customer came in and I am going to guess that this person was a regular Marilyn got his coffee stood there and chatted for quite a while, took his order , we sat there patiently waiting for our order and could see from where we were sitting that it was done but Marilyn served her regular customer first and then we finally got our order which was Luke warm. Another regular came in an Marilyn hurried to the front to seat the customer in her area.Just very disappointed with the service at the Dennys on Day Drive Parma, Ohio.
Haven't been there in a while. Recipes have changed. For example the rye bread tasted like sour dough had no seeds in it, the breakfast sausage was gross and my pancakes had a spongy texture to them. No fault of the employees. Our service was fantastic the food came out hot and cooked to perfection, however, Denny's won't be our first choice for breakfast in the future.
Usually good service but not today. Waited an hour for our breakfast that we found out the waitress never put our order in. Instead of offering anything to us, she told us we can just leave and not pay for the coffees. We tried unsuccessfully to stop her a few times to ask why there was such a wait.
We, as a family, are long time fans of diners. This has always been my favorite and this last time was so good. Everyone was nice, the food was tasty, the bathroom was clean.
Daughter insisted on breakfast for dinner. The website says open till 9. Tried to go at 8. They are closed. Ifyou plan to go, I would call ahead to make sure they are in fact open.
This location struggling with staffing, but the Manager and the whole team (4 people total by my count) is really trying hard and doing an awesome job. My Grand Slam was perfect on more than a few occasions. Be patient with anyone in F&B, it’s a super stressful place to work everyday….hang in there Day Drive Denny’s!
One star just to take the opportunity to leave a review other wise the restaurant doesn't deserves not even one star. Ordered a meal for delivery. The company texted my number 4 times indicating name and time of delivery person. 2.5 hours later still waiting for our meal. Many times I called the restaurant but anyone had the decency to answer the calls. After all we never received our order but yes the restaurant did bill my credit card. Here is very unhappy costumer. Hope they returned my payment. Next time I'll remember not to order ever again from Danny's.
Ordered moon over hammy sandwich. Server brings out a pathetic egg and cheese sandwich witch 1 slice of ham on ONE SIDE of the sandwich. We call her over to show her and she just stands there looking dumb, not saying a word. So I got up and left. Do not waste your time. There's plenty of amazing places to eat in parma. This isn't one of them.
My country fried steak barely qualified for being done..a person got there after me got his complete meal before me including his toast..I was finished with my meal before I got my toast....do yourself a favor and go to thr southside diner. On West Pleasant Valley rd and York rd. For a great breakfast
