? We came here based on the reviews and were not disappointed! I can't say enough about the Italian Wedding soup...so super yummy. Hands down the BEST I've ever had. I'mWe also ordered the chicken cannoli and am in heaven. We may come back for The baked schrod, their best seller, to which the locals at the two tables next to us raved about!!The meatballs were excellent as well. I just may come back all week! ?
First visit to Palombo's - WOW!!! Comfortable environment. Friendly, immediate, accurate service - perfect Manhattan!!! Warm bread, delicious home made (house) dressing [sweet&sour], lemon chicken over linguine - compliments to their chef!!!!I recommend this establishment - I will return often - I will bring the family! KEEP UP THE GREAT WAY THAT IT'S DONE!!!
I was in Palombo's even before they opened, helping Tony and Bev clean, removing the front covering off the bottom of the bar and much more. What a wonderful time we all had. Tony, Bev and family have to be one of the best families you will ever meet. The food in Palombo's is outstanding, the service is top notch, and the prices are reasonable. Every time I am in North Canton, I have to stop. It's been too long; I need a road trip. Love you all, Ms. BB
This restaurant can best be described as a mixture of Italian and American cuisine. The Italian wedding soup is delicious ?. The steak was reasonably priced but obviously low quality and fatty paired with hand cut French fries. My fiance had ordered the scrod that came highly recommended by the wait staff. She stated it was fine for one time but not a reoccurring order for her. The wait staff was extraordinarily motivated to get our order but ignored us once we had received our food and our drinks remained empty more than full. Overall, the price was excellent, the food quality was average, the wait staff was average.
Decided to try and go here for the first time tonight. We didn’t have reservations, but was told it was a 30 minute wait which we thought was fine for a busy Saturday night. After 45 minutes of patiently waiting we decided to ask what was going on since we had watched numerous other walk-ins get seated ahead of us. We were told they had a table for us but “didn’t know which one”. After yet another walk in came in and immediately got seated ahead of us, we decided to go somewhere else.We were excited to eat here for the first time but will not be going back at all. The service was just odd and we kind of felt like we weren’t welcome - maybe it was an off night for the crew, maybe there were new hires, etc. but I assumed an established place like this would have given more attention to all of their customers, not just their regulars.
We finally found a good Italian place in the area!! My husbands family is Italian and I lived in Italy, so we have a hard time enjoying Italian restaurants—they’re usually not very good. But the marinara sauce here was delicious. We really enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere.
I hate posting negative reviews but I felt like it needed to be said for others benefit. We were there early for dinner. I knew going in the atmosphere was not going to be what we were looking for. Loud rock music is not ideal but okay. We wanted good Italian food. Margret, our server was fabulous. She was the best part of our experience. The wedding soup was very good. Tender meatballs and flavorful broth. That’s where the good ended. We ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer. Margret informed us it was going to come out with our meal and asked if that was okay. She also offered to cancel it. That was nice of her and I’ve never had that happen. Most places just bring it and don’t even care. We assured her that was fine. 3 shrimp served with tartar sauce and a lemon wedge. The breading was way too sweet. Like artificially sweet. And only 3? She actually comped them and I’m glad she did.I had the Penne Al la vodka with chicken. Absolutely tasteless. Zero flavor. The pasta wasn’t even salted. My wife had the pasta trio. Each portion on her plate was also lacking in any flavor. And the sauce is watery and also no flavor. Our mother had the broiled pork chops. They were overcooked and dry. The seasoning was okay. Her pilaf was good. A bit dry also. The portions were good and the service was quick. Our bill was also reasonable. I just would not any reason to return. I know many people love this place but I would have to question their taste buds.
Amazing service. And fantastic food. I had the rubin. I wish the thousand island was on it, but I could've requested it like that. ??♂️ And I hope they will soon expand their menu again. However, it was great food. I'm trying their burger next. ?
Me and my coworker sat at the bar waiting for our food to be prepared for take out. We were served by two friendly bartenders especially Vanessa. They both were very friendly and helpful.
Some colleagues and myself were in Canton and it was unanimous that we all wanted Italian. Everyone we spoke to recommended heading to Palombo’s, so we took that as a good omen! They were right! The food was great! Very authentic, excellent portion sizes, and an all around great meal. The staff is warm and friendly, excellent selection of beer on tap, as well as a full bar! If travel brings us back to Canton, Palombo’s will be a must for dinner. Thank you for an excellent experience!
