Ordered take out and my steak wrap was covered in grease. The to go box it came in had an actual puddle of grease in it that poured all over my table when I opened it. On top of that, the mac and cheese I was given was stouffers. I have always loved their mac and cheese and it was definitely stouffers this time. The grinders in Hartville is great but I will never be back to this location.
I "loved" grinders. Yes, used to love.It's now become a chain restaurant delivering fast food quality for dining in prices.I placed a to go order over the phone.First off, GREAT STAFF AND SERVICE THATS NOT THE ISSUE.Spent $50 dollars. On 2 strawberry wraps a bacon burger and fries, chocolate milkshake, french fries and one cup of potato soup(TIP included in the order totaling it to about $50)The burger we got for $12.60 was a "bacon burger" with two pieces of thin bacon placed in a Jesus cross.(Pics below)My reviews are honest based on MUTIPLE orders. I don't eat somewhere once and give a mediocre review.To top it off, while in line to pay I overheard customers talking about how the desserts looked very "deflated" and old.If you want a quality meal, this isn't your stop anymore. (It used to be for me) but I've found WAY better wraps & burgers within 1 mile for less than this. Grinders is no longer what it used to be. Try a new spot. ?
Placed a to go order. Was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. An hour later my food was finely brought out. The staff was rude and not concerned about the wait time. I will definitely not be ordering from or dining at this restaurant again.
Different Grinders than where we usually go, but the spaghetti was just as good! A good heaping helping of it, plus garlic bread! So tasty! I was so full I took some for left overs to work the next day. They got us in quickly. The restroom was clean. Server was very good.
I've been there twice and both times the food and the service were excellent.Edit: this is now one of my favorite places to go. Fresh made soups and salads. My favorite is French onion soup and a chopped salad that has egg, cheese and croutons.
The food is good! Teagen is the best server!The most annoying and rude thing is when the manager is going around and clearing dishes from tables. Not an excuse me, pardon me or even asking if he can take the dishes. I have had my plate taken away when I'm still eating. I stopped to wipe my mouth and saw the plate being quickly taken.It's very annoying. Since that has happened, I keep all of my dishes out of reach of him, whether I'm don or not.
We just ordered a to go order and spent $30 on two sandwiches and an order of what I thought was their beer better onion rings, they quit making them for some reason. They serve little frozen gross onion rings. I was also disappointed in my club sandwich with one little piece of bacon. The quality has gone downhill and what used to be one of my favorite restaurants is no longer.
I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and brown gravy and a side salad. Plus, I ordered macaroni and cheese. My friend also had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes with green beans. The portions size was good. Both meatloafs and mashed potatoes were at room temperature. The macaroni and cheese was the best part of the meal! The waiter did a good job. Still disappointed in the meatloaf! Can't get that out of my mind.
We happened to be in the neighborhood between appointments and, although we'd never eaten at this location, we knew Grinders would be a good place for lunch.We were right. It was a great choice The food was excellent, and the service was nothing short of fantastic. I wish I could remember our server's name because I would publicly recommend her here. Our orders were taken quickly, she was super attentive, friendly, helpful, and although we never felt rushed, we never found ourselves waiting either. Whenever we needed something, she was easy to find and quick to help out.Awesome in all respects. I'd recommend them to anyone.
Always on point being nice! Ruben should be on bread but it's good. Baked spaghetti good. Chicken tenders ?3.75 for 2 with no sides and no meat. They have some interesting wraps but not allowed corn. Maybe try again.
