Dinner was amazing, the steaks were cooked and seasoned perfectly, crab stuffed mushrooms were the best, the drinks were spot on and our server Terry was perfect. Thank you for a great evening! Highly highly recommend ????
I made reservations to celebrate me and my husband’s first wedding anniversary. The day of our reservation I started reading Google reviews. We almost cancelled our reservation. However our experience was so great I wanted to share with others that they SHOULD check this place out and not go off the negative reviews. The risotto was great. The food was not too salty, in fact, it was seasoned perfectly. The place is small but it’s intimate and we are ok with that. Our server was so nice as was the hostess that seated us. Our food was hot and the wait was not elevated. The popcorn place that adjoins is actually really cool. We got a popcorn movie bucket to go! We would 100% go back! Thank you DP for the great experience! Our food was phenomenal!
This was absolutely the best steak house I have ever been to! Drove 45 minutes to try it and it was definitely worth the drive. ( Even at five dollars a gallon)Service was fast, efficient, and friendly.Atmosphere was chill and casual but classy all at the same time.I started with the crab stuffed mushrooms and they were the best mushroom...so fresh and mouth watering.I got the Ribeye steak with the rosemary garlic butter and gordonzola cream because well I'm fat ...My friend and I split the brussel sprouts and the parmesan risotto. I can not say this enough but this meal was so fresh and superb. I highly recommend this place.
The service was a little slow but they only had one waitress tonight so that's understandable. The wife ordered a house salad and it was huge. She also ordered a mushroom and spinach risotto and it was huge. She couldn't finish her meal. She probably would have been fine with a side order of risotto. She enjoyed their peach sangria. She really enjoyed everything. I ordered the salmon and risotto. I've never had salmon so I don't know if it was good or bad BUT I did enjoy eating it.
5 stars to the staff1 star for the food2 stars for the atmosphereI hate to be hard on the place because the service was really good but just wasn't impressed with the food at all. Wife got a peach salad and it had little flavor but I suspect the peaches were just out of season. I got the pork chop and it was gorgeously prepared I just did not care for the flavor but that might just be me. We were excited to try the place but I just don't think the food taste matches the price.Waitress and other staff were wonderful and everything appeared to be well prepared by the chef so I think there is a lot of effort going on but I just don't think the price matches the product.Their AC wasn't working and it's 90 degrees outside but they were trying to push air back from the kitchen into the dining area so it wasn't too hot.My opinion, for what it's worth. I just don't feel the quality or taste of the food meets the price. Maybe a dumbed down or simpler meal menu would be less effort and easier to price accordingly.I mean if a different menu comes out maybe we would try again but as is we won't be back.
Celebrated our anniversary at DP Jackson tonight. Enjoyed the food, very comfortable laid back atmosphere, impeccable service!
Had an incredible dining experience here as a treat for my Mom on Mother's Day. Quality ingredients, preparation, service, and atmosphere. I look forward to another visit!
The steak is AMAZING here, I got the Kings Meal to share with the family and we all really enjoyed it! The sides were amazing as well! We got the smoked gouda mac and cheese, whipped potatoes, and heirloom carrots. The flavors of all of the food were incredible, I will definitely be coming back! The service was a bit slow at the time, but the food definitely made up for it.
This has become my favorite restaurant when I would like a steak. Between the seasoning and the specialty butter that goes with it, no other place around here tops it. I would definitely recommend splitting the risotto if you order it, as it can feed several people!I had their white cheddar mashed potatoes recently and I will most likely always order them now.The staff is very friendly and accommodating as well. When I called to make reservations, the time I preferred was not available. After trying to find a table for us, the owner said to just come with our first time and he would make it work. That's a great way to treat a customer.
Over the top. Steak is perfect. Mashed potatoes are excellent. Large salads. Fresh baked baquette with olive oil dip. The staff was attentive and welcoming. Owner is amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant.
