great food,nice atmosphere wonderful waitress,love looking at their little decor shop fast service.
A few things you would expect Cracker Barrel to be pretty good at; Biscuits, breakfast, and fried chicken.Scratch of the second two. Cold stale biscuits, very small pieces of dried out nearly meatless fried chicken that was mostly inedible breading.Bright spot the pinto beans were spot on.
It is 7 p.m. on a Friday evening. I ordered the country fried steak. The waiter brings it without white gravy because they just ran out! That's what makes the steak good. It's an instant mix!My brother ordered the fish and one of his sides was a salad. He got it after we were about finished.The waiter never bothered to take a dirty dish out of our way!
My husband and I had dinner there this past Saturday. We were seated right away, but it took a while for our server to appear. My food came out pretty quick, however someone forgot to prepare my husband's salad. No food for the hubs. Oops! Salad finally arrived with no real reason as to what happened. Salad looked great and my food presented well and was tasty. Then our server abandon us, yet again. We had completed the meal and were awaiting a take home box. Then finally the manager showed up and rescued us. I would say everything was excellent except for our server.
great comfort food, friendly staff and clean store
The service was great and the store is wonderful but the food was just okay. It was good but lacked flavor and pretty bland. Out of 11 people in our party, only one person was satisfied with their foods flavor. It doesn't taste bad, just lacks much taste. The experience and atmosphere was great though. Served quickly and food was nice and hot.
This will be the 4th time we went to Crackle Barrel to get the 4 piece Southern Fried Chicken dinner. ALL 4 times it was cooked to the point of completely dried out. It was so tough and super dark. It was uneatable. Not kidding it was terrible. When I told them I was told I had already took bite out of them so they could not do anything. I explained I was trying to see if at least ONE piece was edible. The manager just walked away. DON'T ORDER THE SOUTHERN FRIED 4 PIECE DINNER. ???????
At first our waitress was a little touchy when I asked her about her wearing a mask. Later she warmed up. Four of us had good meals although two items in my meal were very cold but it was so busy it wasn't worth them trying to heat it back up. So then fried Chicken was delicious.
Attempted to inform of a large party of people coming they would not take the reservation/ heads up. Once we actually got there waited 35 minutes to be seated and they attempted to sit us at 2 different tables 10 feet apart! Told them that was unacceptable, so the it took another 45 minutes to get a table. Waitress clearly didn’t care to tend to our table, it took 45 minutes for the food, never brought out biscuits until asked, meals missing sides, only took them 20 minutes to bring the check though! Will definitely not be back to this location for a long time if at all!! This was a 2 1/2 hour experience that is truly a disgrace for this place!
Our breakfast was fantastic and our server was top notch! Couldn’t ask for more!
