Love Wendy's, just not this location. Visited there last Friday, there was a carnival of some type going on in downtown Newark. Let's start with cleanliness, this place was filthy, the floor had spills of soda, I'm assuming. In multiple locations, but instead of cleaning/mopping it up it remained on the floor. The bathroom had no soap and their hand dryer didn't work. On to the food/service, food was out quickly, but the staff was luke warm at best. The fries were cold, we had walked out and ate down the street...FYI, no-one likes COLD fries. I simply asked for no pickles, as I don't like them...of course there was pickles on my burger. Both ketchup canisters were out of of ketchup, why? BTW, it was dusk, approx 9:00 pm or just prior too.

Drive through staff doesnt seem very happy BUT they do rarely make mistakes at this location in my experiance, just wish the staff was more happy with their work is all.

Expect to wait in the drive thru but that's due to it being the only fast food joint on the square. Always get the order right tho

I purposely go here on a regular basis to see what they will screw up in the drive thru, now. It’s almost like a game to me.Apparently, if you say “Can I get a number 3 with no bacon?” that means “Can I get a number three with sausage?” ?Or I told the lady I wanted a Jr bacon, fries, and a strawberry lemonade (for my daughter). She automatically grouped it into a 4 for $4. No ma’am, that’s not what I asked for. To be very clear, I do not want chicken nuggets because we will not eat them. “Yeah, I understand how you could want only those things instead. Do you want to swap the chicken nuggets out for a cookie?” No. Ended up with two things of chicken nuggets added to my order.They’re poorly managed, it seems.

I was pleased with the fast, friendly service. My meal (Jr bacon cheese burger, Chilli and, small fry's) was fresh, not to hot and, the chocolate frosty hit the spot.

the lady running the drive thru was very rushy. i started ordering my food fast, because she kept interrupting me saying anything else? then when i told her that’s all at the end of my order, she said anything else? again and it just wasn’t necessary at all. please learn to be patient.

I went in to order the Southwest Taco salad with no tomato and the cashier was like it comes that way they are pre-made like It wasn't an option, which it is I worked at Wendy's as a kid. So anyways they just opened one and removed some tomatoes, when I got home there were still some in it and juice laying on top. Imagine if someone had an allergy.

The downtown Newark Wendy's is not very well managed. When I stopped in for lunch the line actually grinded to a halt and people were standing around trying to get caught up and figure out what was going on. I understand being understaffed but it isn't encouraging when the person taking the orders says, "I don't know what you are doing but I am not taking anymore orders until you figure it out." These were grown adults not teenagers.

Long drive-thru line... Cashier gave me wrong receipt for my purchase. My order was complete and delicious.. Would have preferred to dine inside.

Every single Wendy’s in the area is awful. None get your order right, none are fast, and none are open on the inside to return orders. Go to any other fast food place
