Really satisfied with our stop at this location. Right next to a hotel and right off of the highway this is the place to be. We stopped in around 5 and by 5:30 the place was full. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Got a pitcher of mango margaritas, and it was a good price and definitely had enough tequila. The shrimp quesadilla was by far the best thing I tasted. Would definitely visit this place again.
The food at this establishment is on par with most most other establishments in the same category. The staff is very stand-offish. There is a bar in the opening that would be great if made use as a bar but is instead dirty and appears to be used as storage station. My interactions with the staff we’re brief and less than professional. The wait times weren’t worth the price of admission.In summary the ambience is poor, the staff is unfriendly and the food is average. I don’t recommend this place
Probably my favorite Newark Mexican restaurant. That's saying a lot, because all of the Mexican restaurants in Newark are good. This place is best known for it's margaritas. I suggest the Texas Margaritas, the higher shelf tequila definitely makes it worth it.
Great food. Took a little long for us to have our order taken. When our food came, in the middle of bringing it out they stopped and cashed someone else out.
Food was really bland. Everything tasted like a school cafeteria type blah food. Salsa had no flavor, chips tasted kinda burned. Service was ok, food wasn’t.
Love this place...here at least once a month. Very typical Mexican fare, but has more flavor than most. Always enjoy going here.
The best mexican restaurant in the Newark area. Great food, nice dine in atmosphere, and easy pick up makes it one of my favorite restaurants in general.

My wife and I just ate lunch there and were really happy with the whole experience. They brought out chips and salsa and the chips were warm. I had the lunch fajitas and my wife had the chimichanga. (See photo). EXCELLENT!! The fajitas came out sizzling and we're the best and the service was top notch. They also have all new tables and booths. We will definitely be back.
